Prologue

Prologue:

ARIAH CLEMENTINE

I'm just wandering around the campus trying to find a reason why am I still fighting for life if he doesn't like me.

I did not notice na nakarating na pala ako sa likod ng campus. 2 meters away from where I'm standing, I saw a girl lying on the ground. Hindi ko alam kung buhay pa ba ito.

Agad akong lumapit thinking na she might still be alive. I immediately close the gap between us, nang makalapit ako agad ko siyang pinulsuhan. I was right buhay pa.

I tapped her cheeks trying to wake her up. I don't know what came into my mind.

"Miss wake up." I'm still slightly tapping her cheeks. "Uhm, what's your name" she doesn't budge at all. I don't know what's wrong with her, bakit dito pa siya natulog or maybe she collapsed here just now before I got here.

She looks pale and dehydrated. Kinuha ko ang soda na nasa aking bag, I don't have water in my bag I guess pwede na to.

Even if her eyes are still closed, I tried to make her drink the soda. Inihiga ko ang ulo niya sa aking hita at dahan dahan kong pinainom ang hawak kong soda sa medyo naka wide open niyang labi. She moved from my touch, I thought nagising na.

I suddenly feel thirsty so I decided to drink a bit from the soda I'm holding. Uminom uli ako but this time I didn't swallow it, dahan dahan akong yumuko para ipasa ang nasa aking bunganga sakanya.She can choke to death if I make her drink this directly so I have to do this, right.

Umalis siya sa pagkakahiga sa aking hita, and then she spoke "O-okay lang ako" . She immediately stand up "I—I'm fine, sorry!" and with that she run away. Itinapon ko nalang ang laman ng soda na hawak ko. What's with that girl, weird.
