"Flight 1066 ready for departure." announced an over-head speaker.
Cody and his family raced throught the airport, trying to make their flight to Gold Coast, Australia. The Simpson family was going back to their homeland for summer vacation! Unfortunately, their long awaited plans were at risk of being cancelled due traffic.
"Please hold the gate!" Brad Simpson yelled across the room.
The flight attendant picked up a phone and mumbled a few words before checking all five passports.
"Alright you can head out past this door and follow the hallway to the plane. Have a nice flight!"
The family walked as fast as possible. When they finally got on their plane to GC, they sighed with relief, glad that they didn't have to reschedule their family getaway.
The Simpson family was in long need of an escape. Cody's fame had led to much success and happiness, which was accompanied with occasional stress and constant false rumors about Cody and his family. The celebrity life was obviously tough.
After the extremely long plane ride, Cody, Alli and Tom excitedly raced out of the plane. Waiting for them at the airport entrance were two of their best Aussie friends, Josh and Giorgia.
Cody leaped into Giorgia's arms and embraced her in a bear hug, and Alli and Josh's hug quickly turned into a tickle fight!
"Josh! Stop!" Alli said in between giggles.
"No way! I've missed you too much to not do this!!" Josh chuckled.
"Okay. Cody. I. Can't. Breathe." Giorgia tried to say. Cody's bear hug was suffocating her!
Cody laughed and let go, not wanting to kill his best friend until the fun started.
The memories suddenly started rushing back. Him and Giorgia dated a while before Cody left for Los Angeles. They even had a long distance relationship during 2011, which ended quickly. Cody has always had feeling for Giorgia, and he knows he will always love her deep down.
Angie, Brad and Tom soon found them at the front doors. They put their luggage in a Rent-A-Car and drove off to their old family beach house!
Alli, Tom, Giorgia and Josh giggled the entire time. Cody, on the other hand, sat in the back with Jack Johnson blasting through his headphones. He enjoyed the Australian air coming from the open window.
When the gang arrived at the old Simpson home, a welcome back party awaited them! Inside were their closest friends and family, excited to welcome back their old best friends. They walked in and were taken over by open arms. Cody went straight up to his room.
The party continued without Cody. Although his best friend Jake Thrupp attempted to bring him downstairs, he refused to come down!
The only thing Cody did for the rest of the night was play his guitar and learn of his plans for the next day: a "fun" day with his old friends -- including Giorgia.
Cody wasn't in the mood to reminisce over his past with Giorgia. But if that was necessary to hang out with his friends, he'd be willing to go through with it.
