It was a quiet night in a small unknown town. A hooded figure found a restaurant with only a few customers. The person walked in and sat on the bar table. The server saw the person and headed towards her.

"How may I help you?"

The person with the hood removed it to reveal her blond hair.

"Whatever is made of alcohol."

The server nodded his head and left to make a drink. The blonde sighed as she rested her head on her hand. There was a person sitting near her wearing a cloak hissing his face. A male voice reached out of the shadowed face.

"So, what brings you out here?"

The blonde turned her head towards the covered male.

"Nothing that is of concern to you."

"No need to be rude to a stranger who is asking only a simple question."

The blonde sighed.

"... I'm just stressed about a few things."

"Oh. Well, maybe the stress can be relieved if you talked to someone about it."

The blonde raised her eyebrow a bit. The male held his hand up.

"But then again, you don't have to. After all, there's no need to bring up the past to someone like me."

The server handed the blonde her drink. She noticed it and took a sip out of it. She turned her head away towards the guy.

"I have heard a couple of stories here, but there is one that intrigues me the most. I could tell it to you if you want."

She sighed as she placed down her drink.

"If it gets you to stop bothering me, then go ahead."

The man in the cloak cleared his throat.

"...There lived two sisters in a mansion that were raised to be proper women by their father. The family was doing fine. Until one day the father felt the need to have a son to pass and expand the bloodline."

The server then handed a bowl of peanuts to the man. He said his thanks before continuing.

"The father picked up the boy at an orphanage and took him over to the mansion. The boy met his sisters who were pleased to meet him and got to know him personally and bonded with him over the next 5 years. But the boy felt empty...he had everything but felt that there could be more to gain."

He ate a couple of peanuts. As the woman was getting inpatient.

"Can you get to the end of the tale already?!"

The man chuckled.

"Easy. I'm getting there...Anyways, the boy, who is at the time... 16. Went out of the mansion for an errand. No one knows what happened at that time, only the moment that happened after. The news was that a fire broke out in the mansion."

The blonde almost spat out her drink and turned her head towards the man in slight disbelief.

"There were a few survivors like the sisters, but the boy-"

"-died in the fire."

The blonde finished his sentence with a bit of disbelief shown on her face and asked the man.

"Where did you hear the story?"

Suddenly a man barges into the restaurant with a wound on the shoulder. He screamed out loud.

"There's a demon attacking the village!"

The people in the restaurant were screaming, except for the blonde and cloaked man. She turned around to the crouched server and threw some money on the table.
