I stared into Alastairs beautiful greyish-blue eyes and wondered how I got so lucky. I ran my fingers through his gorgeous silky brown hair. I am so in love with her. But love is such a silly thing, sometimes it makes you do stuff, stupid stuff. I would do anything for Alastair, and I hope he would do anything for me. I admired Alastair. She was so peaceful, when asleep. Do I sound stupid? Probably. I slowly move, attempting not to wake Alastair. He mumbled as he felt the movement. I sighed as I got off the bed.

I was in the kitchen, flipping pancakes. As Alastair groggily walked in
"Rowenn?" Alastair murmured.
"Hello, my love." I replied. He wrapped his arms around my waist from behind me, snuggling his face into my neck.
"Smells good.." She said, in his morning voice. I chuckled at him.
"They're almost done, give me a second" I responded, as I placed 2 of them, on each plate. "How you been holding up, star?" I asked, I called Alastair, Star, sometimes. It was a nickname.
"I've been okay. Just tired.." She said, sleepy.
"I know, hun" I say. I handed her his plate, and took mine. I sat down at the table. Alastair took a couple bites of his pancakes, as did I. He took a chug of her water.
"How have you been, Rowen?" He asks.
"Ah, I've been- alright, I guess." I say. He raises his eyebrow at me.
"Sorry! I mean like I've been fine, I'm just tired too." I say, chucking softly at my stupidity
"Don't worry me like that, hun." He says, reaching across the table, ruffling my hair
"I know, I know! Sorry." I say
"Don't be sorry, bub. I just worry for you sometimes." He says. Continuing to eat his pancakes, I realize I had forgotten about mine. I rush to eat them. Alastair chuckles at me.
