I Know You Need Me

1. Finally

A/N: A new character will be introduced along with her daughters name reveal for the first chapter.

"Finally.."
I let out a heavy sigh after finally unpacking the last few things we needed on this move. Its been about 2 weeks since moving from the states to Australia and its been tough. My daughter pretty much threw fits the whole trip over here. She didn't like all the traveling and moving around yet if she is the one doing it its fine lol. But the loft we live in is quite cozy for the both of us. I hope moving here is the best choice I'm making for us.

"MOMMY MOMMY!!"
My 3 year old yelled.

"YES BABY"

"Smacks smacks!!"

"Okay hold on let me check the cabinets"

I go to the kitchen to see if i threw her extra snacks up there but I didnt see them. Uh oh. Looks like we gotta make a run to the store. So I grabbed her and we head to the car. After a 10 minute drive we finally arrived to a store. We go in and I go straight to the aisle that I've been going to quite often since moving here. My daughter  despite being a picky eater surprisingly loves australian snacks. Its hard finding things she loves to eat let alone get her to try them. Soon I see the snacks she likes and i reach to grab them when another unfamiliar hand reaches for them as well. I quickly snatch my hand away and look at the person bewildered. Mouth open I immediately apologize.

"I'm so sorry You ca-"
I was stopped by a sweet feminine voice.

"No love you can have them."

"A-are you sure? I was just getting them for my daughter. I can get her something completely different its fine." I rushed out my mouth in almost one breath.

"No seriously you can have it. Anything for the little one."

I sigh. "Thank you so much."

"You're not from here, are you?"

"No ma'am I'm from the states just moved here recently"

"I'm Izzy" She holds her hand out to me. I switched the snacks into my other hand and grab hers to shake.

"Aurelia, and this is Liani" I took my daughters hand to give Izzy a cute little wave. Liani hid her face in my shoulder. We both laughed at her as we walked to check out.

"So how long have you been here now?" Izzy asked.

"About 2 weeks now, I mostly been unpacking and keeping Liani busy"
I said with a small laugh.

"She is literally so cute. What have you done about a job? Transferring or scouting any?" She said with her eyebrows quirked up.

"Not transferring, just came over here with what savings i had so far. I have been looking online at some. What do you suggest?" I say with shrugged shoulders.

" You should definitely come work at my company. We offer an apprenticeship for high end fashion designers that want to sell pieces for low costs. We basically just make deals between the designer and the stores they want to sell them in."
She said with much excitement in her voice.

" Umm... I don't know. It sounds good and reasonable. How is the pay and scheduling work?" I snug liani closer while looking at Izzy.

By now we have made it outside the store.

"Oh yea its pretty much a six figure job and maybe more if you get a good rep. Far as scheduling goes you work on your own time. You can come in the office and work some days or work from home. Long as you break profits you shall recieve profits. So what do you think?" She says with a soft smile.

"Okay fine I'll take the job. When do i start or come in? Oh god I have to figure out what to do about child care.." i scrunch my eyebrows and place a hand on my head.

She grabs my hand and laughs.
"The company will take care of that. We have an official day care for mothers like you single or not."

I sigh deeply. "Thank god cause I wouldnt even know where to begin"
I laughed.

" Well its done. Here's my card it has my number text me when you make it home and I'll let you know more details and when you can start. Okay?"

"Okay thank you so much. You have been so nice to me. I'll text you later bye!!"

"No problem, Text me bye bye now!!"

We waved at each other with big smiles. Maybe this won't be too bad after all.

A/N: A kind of short chapter. I didn't want to drag it out. I will hopefully try not to do that through out the story itself. But who knows creative minds tend to flow. Hope y'all enjoy it so far. :D Peace!
