DescriptionHe was was good looking, not to mention smart, and some how hipnotizing. His face and body, everything about him was stunning. He was what every girl called perfect. Including me, but I'd soon find out he was far from being Mr. Perfect. He wasn't the Derek we all thought he was. He was full of lies, and dark secrets. With a past that no one could imagine. Chapter One
"Ms. Anderson, would you like to share with the class your motive for being late on the first day of school." said Mrs. Smith my first period teacher. She was a family friend. Mrs. Smith looked to be in about her late thirtys, she had short straight hair, 3 kids (all boys), and loved teaching English. I had heard she was nice but could be strict when she didn't approve of something. Of course she wouldn't approve of this.
"Um, I, uh, I had a flat tire. Sorry." I said quickly walking to an empty seat at the back of the class, Trying to avoid peoples stares and thinking of the real reason as to why I had been late, I sat next to the window.
The rest of the class I spent looking out the window admiring the dreadful Texas weather that didn't seem as awful in the mornings. Everything that had been said in class was a blur which I don't mind I'm sure it was all just talk about class rules, the dress code, and class requirements. Nothing really intresting, just the first day of every school year talk, which we'd have to hear in every period.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Finally lunch time came right after an absolutely boring 3rd period in biology with Mr. White an old man who wouldn't shut up about how " You kids now a days grow up so fast. You think your old enough to have sex, huh? But are you old enough to be taking care of a kid?" And about how he met his wife. Like I'm sure his wife is a very nice lady but come on we don't want to know your whole life, jeez!
Entering the cafeteria doors I was greeted by the disgusting smell of the low fat school district required food. Thank god for my monthly allowance that consists of 30 dollars. I looked around trying to find my friends but didn't see them, then hunger got the best of me so I decieded to buy something to eat. Something that actually had some taste in it.
I stood in line for about 10 minutes before I could actually order. Just when I was about to order Natalie the schools biggest secret Slut came cutting in in front of me. She's a secret Slut because she acts like the nicest and most innocent person but in reality she's always getting down and dirty with her friends boyfriends. But of course no one knows. I do because she's my neighbor.
"Excuse me, um I've been waiting in line for about an hour." Okay yeah I exaggerated a little bit but still I mean come on. I wait in line for 10 long minutes and she just cuts in in like a second like it's nothing.
"Oh, huh, I'm so sorry I didn't mean too. It's just that I haven't eaten all day and and I feel bad, the doctor said I should eat every meal. I'm sorry you should go first. I'm sure I can wait a few more minutes." She said while giving me a shy smile and moving aside, but I'm sure she was cursing me in her head.
"Yeah, I should." I said taking her place in front of me. "Well I hope you feel better." I said walking away with my food tray.
I looked around the cafeteria until Finally I caught sight of my dearest best friend Abby Meyer. People thought our friendship was so weird because while I was short (5'2), had long curly hair, dark brown eyes, and tan skin, she was the total opposite. Abby was tall (6'1), had blonde midium hair, hazel eyes, and had white pale skin. I made my way to her.
"Where were you at? I was looking for you." I said sitting down next to her.
"I had to go put some books in my locker." She answered back through a full mouth. She does that on purpose because she nows that's one of my pet peves.
"First, eww don't do that. And where is everyone else at?" I said disgusted by what she had done And bearly realizing that the rest of our friends where missing.
"Well Sydney is still out of town at her grandmas place. Jack is apparently very sick so he couldn't come." She said biting into her pizza again.
"Did you hear that there's a new guy coming in tomorrow?" Abby asked with a huge smile plastered on her face.
"Yeah I heard some girls obsessing over 'the new kid' , and why the huge smile?" I asked slightly curious as to why my best friend was all red. I cleaned the side of my mouth with her napkin while waiting for her answer.
"Oh, Jenna you'll see." She said giving me a grin. "And when you do your face will be stretched with a humongous smile.
We ate and talked about our summer and how we should have hanged out more. And other stuff like gossip one or the other didn't know.
Lunch passed and so did the rest of my classes. Now that I knew Abby was so caught up about this new guy I was really curious as to who he was and why were all the girls obsessing about him. I had to find out.
