Episode 3; It's Better if I Can't Win
Today we have a practice match with Kajio that I'm not looking forward to. But I also promised Aida that I would go with them. Only if she promised to keep Ryo-chan away from me. I walked with the guys standing next to Kagami and Tetsu. Aida told Kagami to be my Kise bodyguard just to keep him away from me.
Once we made it to Kajio campus he just had to show up, making me groan. I did my best to ignore him but his voice is just annoying. So whenever he tried talking to me Kagami blocked him or started talking about something else.
I walk in looking at the rest of the team. They all have high stats. I researched all of them before coming here. They have Kasamatus the captain and point guard, Moriyama shooting guard, Kobori the vice captain and center, Ryo-chan small forward, Nakamura shooting guard, and lastly Hayakawa power forward.
I look for the coach and just see a fat old man. I see only half the court was where we were going to play and it looks like the rest of the team is still practicing. Seeing that made me grit my teeth in disgust. I already knew what type of guy the coach was.
While Mr.Takeuchi Kajios' coach explains why things were like this I walk over to the captain, "Hey your Kasamatsu right?" I ask him, making him perk up hearing a girl's face. His face was bright pink after hearing me.
"H-huh! Y-Yeah," He stutters, making me chuckle a bit.
"I'm Konoha Y/n. I'm the assistant coach at Seirin. I was wondering if I could ask you where the water fountain is. I need to fill my team's water bottles!" I shyly say.
He quickly nods, "It's d-down that hallway t-to the left," He explains.
"Thanks, Kasamatsu-senpai," I flirt while walking away to hurry up and fill the guy's water bottles. Once I finished filling the water bottles I walked into Kagami breaking the hoop. I look to the coach's face and his jaw was on the ground in shock.
The game continues going back and forth. I didn't speak much since I just needed to watch the game so I could understand the other team's play style not only the other team but our team's play style.
