Part 17

I took my final bows and mentally thanked God that this night was over. I smiled and then exited off the stage and went to my dressing room. I pulled on my jeans and t-shirt I brought to change into and then grabbed my uggs and slipped them on. I made my way out to the audience and found Karlie and Kalin together.
"Hey guys" I said and Kalin looked at me all smiley.
"That was so cool Jessica! I'm not lying either you looked gorgeous up there!" Kalin said and I giggled and hugged him. Then I have Karlie an extra long hug that she knew I needed.
"Thanks for coming guys," I said frowning slightly.
"Myles was gonna come he just-"
"Kalin, it's fine." I said and he looked at me sympathetically.
"Wanna come get some dinner?" He asked and my nodded my head side to side.
"I think I'm just gonna go home and get some sleep." I said and Kalin nodded his head and Karlie gave me one last hug before we all exited to our cars.

I pulled into my driveway and briefly looked over at Myles house contemplating going over to talk to him. I chose to go home instead knowing that he didn't want to see me. I looked up at me porch and was shocked to see myles sitting there shivering.
"Myles?" I said and he looked up at me with puffy red eyes.
"Why are you here? I thought you hated me." I said and he stood up still shivering from the cold.
"Can I come inside please." he said and I nodded and unlocked my door. I grabbed him a blanket and wrapped him up in and then took a seat on the couch across from him.
"Why are you here Myles?" I said and he looked up at me and sighed.
"Because I miss you, but I feel so betrayed by you at the same time." he said and I down at my lap.
"I didn't cheat on you myles," I said and a tear fell down my cheek.
"How do I know that for sure?" He said and I thought about how easy it's be for me to get my yearbook from two years ago where that picture was taken from. Me and Jake won cutest couple and that's where that little witch stole it from. But myles should trust me, and I don't know why but something is stopping me from showing him.
"Because myles, I love you. You're the only guy I want and I wouldn't ever cheat on you. Why don't you trust me? I've never done anything that should make you question my loyalty." I said and he looked down and shook his head.
"It's hard to believe you when I've seen the proof." he said and I looked up at him.
"Myles it's an old photo, he was my ex 2 years ago! Yes it is me in the photo but it's from 2 years ago!" I said and he stood up and looked at me.
"I have to go," he said but I grabbed his hand. I choked on my tears as I opened my mouth to ask this question.
"So where does this leave us Myles?" I said and he looked down at me and ripped his hand away.
"There is no us anymore," he said and then left my house. I fell to the floor and pulled my legs to my chest and attempted to calm my breathing. I never should've let him in my life, now he's gone and I'm heart broken.

Myles POV (2 days later)
I'm a mess. I miss my girlfriend, my other half. I can't believe she'd do this to me, I'm shocked and hurt and I can't bring myself to forgive her.
"Kalin I said no!" I heard Karlie shout as Kalin ran into my room with Karlie right behind him.
"Myles you have to see this!" Kalin said and turned to Karlie who had a book gripped into her small hands.
"Karlie please show him!" He said and she sighed and looked at me then back to Kalin.
"Jessica doesn't want this Kalin! She wants myles back but you heard her!" She said and I stood up suddenly interested.
"Karlie please show me." I said and she groaned but opened up the book and flipped through the pages.
"Here, look" she said and I grabbed the book and scanned over the page. Suddenly my eyes fell over the picture of Jessica and that boy and I cringed.
"what is this?" I said and I read the caption on the photo.
'Cutest couple'
"It's our schools yearbook Myles, it's from sophomore year." Karlie said and I felt so much guilt and relief wash over me.
"She- she was telling the truth" I said and sat down on my bed and ran my hands through my hair.
"Why didn't she show me this?"
"Because she didn't want to need proof for you to trust her Myles." Karlie said and I stood up and punched my wall.
"Myles chill!" Kalin said and then same back down on the bed.
"Myles, you haven't seen her. She misses you so much and she wants you back. You just have to talk to her, okay?" Karlie said and then walked over to my closet.
"What are you doing?" I asked and she giggled as she pulled out some clothes.
"About to get you ready for a ballet."

Jessica's POV
I sighed as I pulled my hair back into the tight bun and slipped on my black and white feathered crown. I pulled on my white swan outfit and started stretching out my feet. Then I looked in the mirror and bit my lip to keep back any tears.
"I can do this," I whispered and my door swung open and my dance instructor walked in smiling at me.
"My beautiful Jessica, I always knew you'd be my swan queen." he said and then kissed my hand.
"It's your final night Jessica, I know you will do absolutely wonderful! There's quite the assortment of flowers outside for you!" I smiled and hugged him before following him outside.
"I'll make sure to get them after the show" I said and he hugged me as we reached the stage.
"Okay Jessica, it'll be starting very soon." he said and then blew me a kiss and walked out to be in the audience. The crowd cheered as the curtains opened and I took a deep breath before going onstage.

After the show I had agreed to go to dinner with Karlie and Kalin at some fancy restaurant. I quickly curled through my hair and then pulled on my long sleeve black dress that ended mid thigh. (Picture in the media). I pulled on some black heels and then walked out of my dressing room and out to the audience. Most of the people had cleared out but I didn't see Kalin or Karlie anywhere.
"Great," I signed and leaned against the stage and looked down at my feet. Then suddenly I saw a pair of all black vans appear next to mine and I looked up to be greeted by those beautiful brown eyes.
"Myles," I breathed out and he smiled at me and handed me a dozen roses.
"You were so beautiful up there, I-I'm sorry I didn't come before." he said looking down and I swallowed hard.
"Why are you here?" I said and myles looked at with guilt all over his face.
"I saw the yearbook Jessica, I'm so sorry I should've trusted you. You tried to tell me and I didn't trust you." he said and I rolled my eyes.
"God dammit Karlie," I whispered and he chuckled at me.
"Deep down I knew you were telling the truth. It's just that I've been hurt before by people I never thought would hurt me, and I should've known you were different. I'm an idiot to believe Bella I'm an idiot to ruin what we had." he said and I stopped him by covering his mouth.
"Myles why would you ever believe Bella?" I said and he shook his head and I could see his eyes watering. I wanted to hold him again and be normal again so badly.
"I don't know, I can't take it back but I can promise it'll never happen again. You're everything to me, and I don't want to lose you." he said and a tear fell down his face before I grabbed him and hugged him tightly.
"Myles it's okay," I said and rubbed his back as he hugged me tightly.
"I love you so much Jessica, and I'll do anything to win you back." he said and I pulled away and scowled at him.
"Don't Myles." I said and he looked down sadly at the floor.
"I understand." he said and tried walking away but I pulled him back and kissed him earning a delighted squeal from him.
"I mean don't because I just want to go back to normal. I miss you sleeping next to and I miss our late night talks." he kissed me and I smiled at the familiar feeling.
"Now let's go beautiful, I would love to show you off in that beautiful dress but I think we could use some alone time." he said and I nodded in agreement as he walked me out of the studio.
