Travel Through The Times (Inuyasha x Male! Oc)

~Prologue~

   For many years, Ryu was able to pass through the well. The first time it happened, he and his best friend, Inuyahsa, were playing. Being the rough playing boys they were, Ryu got too close and fell in. When inside the well, blue light surrounded him. It swirled all around him. Then his ears began to shrink and disappear. Then his shoulder length, dark blue hair shortened, and his small stubby-like tail disappeared as well. Soon the light was gone as quick as it came, and he was in the bottom of the well again.

    "Inuyahsa! You up there," He called. But no answer. Ryu then climbed his way out of the well.

      "Huh...It wasn't like that before. What?! My hair and ears and tail!? They're gone!? Am I... human..." He thought to himself. He went outside the well and looked around at the strange world outside.

     That was the first time he entered the well. He had done it many times until now. Passing between modern and feudal era Japan. That was until the day that Inuyasha had been bound to the tree by Kikyo. He had gone to see his best friend that day, like he always would.

    His, now,  two tails swishing behind him as he followed the path towards the village. But when he got there the people were frantic. He kept walking and soon made it to the forest where he and Inuyasha would meet.

    But there, he found Inuyasha bound to the tree, Kikyo's arrow struck right through his heart. His body just lying lifeless, sealed to the tree. Ryu fell to his knees as tears began to fall. His mind wouldn't slow down. All the memories they made together flooded quickly through his head. He had watched his best friend fall in love with a woman that hurt him. All these years he watched and helped him, but did not say a word about the fact that he too, had feelings for his friend. He just stood by and was a good friend for Inuyasha till the very last moment.

    "'I'm sorry...I'm sorry. I wasn't here in time and couldn't save you." Ryu whispered as looks up at Inuyasha's body.

      "Aye, you need not be sorry..." He turned to peer back at Kaede behind him, his sad ears drooping.

        From that day Ryu left the village and lived in the human realm, for the most part. Of course he always went back and forth to check on Inuyasha's tree and the others in the village. It has been fifty years and Inuyasha is still bound to the tree. Ryu, not looking any different because of his demon blood, returns to the well.
