Firefly was in the kitchen, cup of tea in hand he hadn't bothered to put on a shirt that morning his skin both scar-filled and untouched skin on display as they drank the hot liquid in his cup he put a hand in the pocket of his sweatpants as he stared at a wall spacing out his attention was snapped back to reality by a smooth sly flirty voice
"my my what do we have here~"

Gavin was leaning on a wall looking at him up and down kinda playfully not as he walked over to the much taller person looking up at him as he puts his hands on their waist pulling him closer: "**good Morin'** he said in his deep country morning voice
a light pink appears on the shorter ones' faces as he smiles up at them
" a good morning indeed with an even better view must I say ah! and I must~"
ff ears and face go a little shade of red and he looks away sipping his drink Gavin's sly sweet laughter ringing in his ears making them twitch
"**mhm**," he says unbelieving of his words he was an eye sore the scars on him were deep and bruised pulled on his skin it inched and hurt it was easy to scratch and make it bleed even a simple pull or a scratch would cause them to bleed like crazy he hated it ever since Quinn threw them at a wooden wall with such ease the wood tore at his skin scars were invested in the skin of their body for the rest of his life so after that he became a bodybuilder and got stronger then got a job at home depo
Gavin sensed the self-hate in his partner's core he didn't want that for him for his boyfriend to go through that he had to do something he would do something
"love?"
firefly looks at him eyebrow raised:**hmmm?**
"Are you okay?"

he lied to his face he's trying to ignore the feelings push them down lock them away
Gavin rubs his waist relaxingly ff grunts a bit and backs up a bit

he asks softly as ff moves closer to him

he apologized
"you don't have to be sorry I'm just making sure your okay"
he says resuming the relaxing movement on his waist and ff lets out a breath
"how'd you sleep?" he asks setting his cup down on the counter "you know I don't need to sleep right?"
"don't mean you can't have a good one" he counters
Gavin nods to the side: "true I slept well I would ask you how you slept but...."
the taller elemental looks away Gavin can see the eye bags on his face it looks like he hasn't slept in years
"I know you didn't..."
Firefly sips the new liquid in their cup eyes shut

"you need sleep doll"

FF looks at me and I look at him
"Take a break today"
FF thinks for a minute then nods agreeing to his request gavin smile

They were sweaty ,hot and overheated overestimated so much that they were smoked from their actual mouth
He breaths out once more a new gust of smoke flushed and flowed out as he sat their
Then the door opened

he says trying not to studder more smoke blocking Gavin's vision
"Firefly what-"
He's cut off by a lump in his throat as he coughs harshly
"Just leave i-ill ve out in a minute once this stops"
