Chapter 18

Tad POV

I raise my head to look at my mother to see her gently smiling at me, which made me smile in return. She looks at Bill and said kindly

"My lord, I know why your here. Don't worry, your bride is ok."

"S-She's..." Everyone looked at my father

"Not his b-..." He cough up more blood, then I looked at my mother. Her eyes glowed meaning she's making my father cough up blood. She then looked at Ella with her normal eyes

"Ella" Ella step forward

"Yes, mother"

"Take our lord to his bride, then let them have some privacy." My mother said kindly, I looked at Bill to see him smiling. They walked down the hallway, and out of the throne room leaving me with my parents. I took a deep breath, and made eye contact with my mother as she smiles at me.

"Tad" My mother said softly which I bow my head

"Yes, mother" I didn't hear her reply, but her heel steps getting closer. I got scared, then the steps stop. I closed my eyes getting ready to get slapped, but instead I feel her hand softly on my cheek while rubbing her thumb. I shot open my eyes in shock, then slowly raise my head to look at my mother. 

"Your not in trouble dear..." She leans in and softly kiss my forehead, which made tears go down my cheeks as I put my hand over hers. She lead me to the throne, and surprisingly let me sit in the throne. She sat down in her old throne beside me, then said calmly

"I know you think that I'm a very strict and scary mother, but I only acted that way. Because I was...disappointed..." I was stunned for a moment before she continued

"I was very disappointed in you, because you acted like your father when he was your age. But now, I proud of you for fixing you relationship with Bill." I froze in shock and looked away confused

'How did she know?' My mom chuckled which got my attention

"Son, did you forget what my power does." Her eyes shine for a split second, I was dumfounded

'Right, she can hear and see what anyone is doing.'

"That's right dear I can, and I'm happy that you remember." My mother replied happily as she put her hand on my cheek with my hand over it

"Now then..." My mother remove her hand

"I told the kingdom that I'll be making an announcement tomorrow, and your father doesn't even know what it's about." I chuckle

"What is it about mother?" I asked curious

"You have to find out tomorrow, son." My mother replied kindly

Bill POV

As I followed Ella down the hallway, I couldn't stop worrying about what Kevin did to Pine Tree which makes my blood boils. We stop at a door, Ella open, and let me go inside to see Pine Tree laying in bed with slap marks on each side of her cheeks which made me angry.

"I'll let you guys have privacy." Ella said kindly

"Thank you Ella." I replied calmly, Ella bowed then closed the door behind her. I walked over to the bed and sat at the edge

"Pine Tree?" I softly said as I put my hand lightly on her cheek, but she whimpered which I immediately move my hand away. She slowly opened her eyes which made my blood go cold, Kevin made her blind and is asking for war

"B-Bill?" Pine Tree asked softly, she was going to sit up, but I put my hands on her shoulder and softly replied

"Hey I'm here, don't get up." Asria listen and lay down facing me, then put her hand on my arm

"I'm still here love, I'm still here." I said softly as I hold her hand with my other hand over her hand, which put a smile on her.

"Pine Tree, please tell me what happen while I was talking to Tad?" I asked calmly

"W-Well..." (She's explaining this flashback)

Flashback

Asria and her family took a few minutes to calm the people while Bill chat to Tad, then black smoke appeared out of nowhere. Everyone protect their eyes till the smoke disappear to see Kevin looking at Asria, Mary ask why he was there which he replied taking his sons bride home. Everyone told him constantly that Asria was Bill's bride, which he just ignore till Asria refuse to go with him. Kevin went to plan B, and throw black smoke at Asria's eyes with his magic. Asria screamed as she put her hands to her eyes. Kevin grab Asria from behind, and teleported to a guest bedroom. Asria was on the bed with chains on her writs connected to the bed frame, then she opened her eyes to find out that she was blind due to Kevin's magic. Kevin stand in front of her, and started asking questions. She gave him the answers he didn't want to hear, and slapped her multiple times. Asira cry in pain as her cheeks became sore, then Tad's mother Lilly grabbed Kevin's wrist. Lilly flung Kevin to the wall, then introduce her self to Asria while removing the chains and let her rest, then dealt with Kevin.

End of Flashback

  Pine Tree finish explaining with tears going down her cheeks. I was pissed that Kevin hurt my bride, and low growled which made Pine Tree flinch then whimper. I lean into her ear and softly said

"Sorry love, I didn't mean to scare you." I remove my hands from her hand, and wrap my hands around her waist helping her up. I pulled her into my lap with her hands on my shoulders.

"B-Bill...w-what are you..." Asria stuttered softly, I gently lick her cheek which made her flinch and whimper. She opened her mouth to say something, but I took the opportunity to french kiss her. Asria was shock for a second, then close her eyes as I use my power to heal her. She opened her eyes as we separated with a trail of saliva, and showed me her beautiful blue sapphire eyes. I smile as she lay her head on my shoulder, and snuggle into my neck as she purrs with happiness.

"Pine Tree..." Asria raise her head and look at me

"Let's bring you back home". I said calmly, she nodded before I picked her up bride style. I used my power to leave the room, then walked down the hallway while explaining the conversation Tad and I had at the ballroom.
