Chapter 8- Halt alone

Halt POV:

As we watched Jeff leave. I couldn't believe him. I don't want to see him again. Seek was pretty quiet. It's just that...what if he's telling the truth? I thought I was a good friend..

I would walk out of the room but then seek would ask me,

" Hey, halt? Can we take a break now? It's been a while since I met figure. And  that's the last of  those players. "

" Uh, sure. You may leave. "

Seek would go back to door 50. I would walk out of door 52. Eventually I reach the garden. I sat down, it's been a while since I was out here. What if I'm not a good leader? What if I don't belong here...I just want the best for this hotel.. I can prove Jeff wrong!

Id get up and look for someone, then I'd see rush pacing the hallways. " Hey rush! " I'd call

" Yeah? "
" Do you think I'm a good leader? "
" Uh...um....sure bud? "
He didn't act sincere.. maybe he's in a bad mood.

" Hey rush! Come here!! " Screech would call from a distance.

" Ambush said I have a bad tactic! Is that true?.. "

" No way! He has no right to say that. Show me where he is. "

Both of them leave. N-no..rush only said that because screech is just a kid..right? Wait a minute, I should just ask guiding light about this. She tells the truth!

I would go back to the garden. " GL! Where are you? " I'd call her.

Then she would appear. " It is I, the guiding lig!- wait.. halt? I wasn't expecting you to come to me out of all the entities. "

" Well, yeah..about that. " " I just needed to ask a question, am I a good leader? "

" Well.. " there would be a short pause

" Why don't you ask yourself that question? Take note on your actions. "

Ask myself? I was so confused.

" But how should I know if I'm good or not? "

" Well, you should be confident about your answers. See who may seek for your help oftenly, pay attention to your surroundings. Think about others. "

" Ah..maybe you're right. Thanks light!"

" It's not a problem! " She would disappear, leaving a trail of blue smoke.

After some time has passed..

I must take note on others feelings! I should act nice to them. I would go to the meeting room, as I open the door I see everyone just hanging around. They didn't invite me? Everyone was there. Seek, screech, Timothy, eyes, glitch, etc. Even figure was there. Seek must have guided him. But on one side of the room was hide, and the other was Jack. They were not looking too happy.

But once they noticed me, everyone jolted up straight. I hear others murmer my name. Was it to respect me or are they afraid? " Oh, hello halt! S-sorry if we are slacking off.. " seek would be the first one to say anything. The room was too quiet. " Oh no, it's nothing! Keep doing what your doing. " Id close the door and leave. I would hear the entities chatting to each other. I felt so alone..now I think I'm confident of my answer. Hmm..maybe there's a book on how to be kind? It's embarrassing I need something like this..

Maybe figure won't mind if I borrow a book. I would see the book big bronze door
