"What?!" Chance asked standing up.

My grand baby? How , what , and when?

"Diamond this ain't funny!" Bruce said looking at her.

"You're right it ain't but imma keep drinking until it is." She said laughing a little bit.

I looked to the little girl. "Honey, who are you?"

"Crystal. Crystal Harris." She said.

Bruce looked at me. "Mama I swear I don't know this little girl."

I crossed my arms. "Who is your people?"

"Dobios's."

"Alice is her mother." Diamond said standing up and handing a piece of paper to Bruce. "She yours."

He stood there for a minute to examining the paper.

"Well." I asked looking at him.

No response.

"Yo mama talking to you boy!" Chance snapped.

"Y'all I swear-

"Congratulations big bro!" Diamond said laughing.

I snapped my head towards her. "Not right now!"

"I didn't mean to cause any trouble." Crystal said looking at us.

"Sweetheart does your mom know your here?" I asked.

She shook her head no.

"And why not?" Chance asked crossing his arms.

"Because I told her I was going to my best friends house for dinner, but I only told her that because she doesn't want me to see you." She said looking at Bruce.

"What?" Bruce asked.

"I asked if I could come see you a long time ago but she would always shut me down. So I decided to take matters into my own hands." She said.

I sighed. "That's not how you go about things crystal."

"Yes ma'am , but I just couldn't go another day with a no to the face." She said looking down.

"How did you get here?" Bruce asked walking up to her.

"The bus." She said looking at him.

"The bus?! Little girl do you know how dangerous it is for girls like you to be riding the bus this late?! Don't do that ever again!" Chance said looking at her.

She nodded very quickly.

I sighed and looked at her.

"Well are you hungry?"

"Very." She said chuckling a lil bit.

Yep she's Bruce all over again.

"Come on everybody let's eat." Chance said walking off.
