The demon pounced onto Sabito. Yelping in surprise by the sudden force, he desperately tried to slash the head off using the knife he brought with him. "Fufufu~ Trying to use a knife?" The demon cackled as he showed off the cut, and it immediately disappeared. Sabito eyes grew in shock, thinking it was the end for Sabito Giyuu game out of nowhere and kicked off the demon's head. The body fell limp for a second. In disgust, Sabito pushed it off him, and he dragged himself back.

As if coming back to life, the body pounced at Giyuu. "Giyuu!" Sabito yelled as he disappeared into the forest. Grabbing the rock from somewhere, he smashed the head of the demon. The demon made a gurgling sound. Sabito sighed in relief and looked around for Giyuu. "Giyu??? Giyuu!!" Sabito called out, looking for his best friend. He heard a rustling sound coming from the bushes. He perked his head towards the sounds and saw Giyuu walk out. "Giyuu!" Sabito called out in relief.

After returning to the temple, the duo encountered a man who introduced himself as Urokodaki.

"What will you do if your friend eats a human?" Urokodaki asked. Sabito stood their and was about to say something, but he was smacked across the stomach. Sabito clenched his stomach in pain.

"You will kill him and then yourself! Now grab the demon and follow me!" Urokodaki shouted as he burst ahead. Regaining himself from shock, he scrambled over to the temple and grabbed Giyuu, and ran after Urokodaki.

Once they reached the house of Urokodaki, Sabito was huffing and puffing in fatigue and looked up and was surprised to see Tanjiro. He was currently in a conversation with Urokodaki before spotting Sabito.

"Hello Sabito-kun!" Tanjiro welcomed.

They said a few small words before Tanjiro was getting ready to leave. "Make sure to tell me when their training is done, Urokodaki-sama!" Tanjiro said before seemingly disappearing in thin air. Sabito backed up, surprised. "Will..will I ever be that fast?!" Sabito asked out loud. He heard a rough laugh coming from the senior. "His level of speed? I don't think so." Urokodaki said, making Sabito's confidence decrease slightly.

"Your training begins! Set your friend inside the house and follow me up the mountain!" Urokodaki yelled.

Eh?! All that running wasn't enough?! Sabito thought sadly as he sulked inside the house.
