"I object!", I hear a voice say louder. Turning towards the crowd of guests, I let go of my soon-to-be husband's hands.
"Cate-", I breath out. Everyone looks at her shocked.
"What?!?", Daniel says in an angry voice, looking at her like he'd kill Cate any minute.
"I said I object! I can't let you ruin your life y/n!"
"But Cate-", I get interrupted by his hands pushing me back by my waist.
"Let go of her!", she angrily screams, coming towards us. She looks beautiful, almost heavenly with her cute bangs and that outfit.

"Leave us the fuck alone!", Daniel screams again, also coming up at her, me just standing there in shock.
"You have no right to do this, you!-", he suddenly gets held back by Cate's best friend Sandy and my sister Sarah. Cate stops.
"I love you, y/n!", she screams over to me, drowning out his screams as a tear runs down her cheek.
I couldn't move. I have loved her for so many years and now that I was going to get married she decides to tell me? I was angry at her, shocked, but the happiest I've ever been.
"I love you too.", I whisper out, not me but my heart being the one speaking. Realising this, I get out of my thoughts and see her slowly approaching me, I start crying but this time in happiness.
Wanting to just be in her arms I start running towards her, ignoring everything and everyone else around us, as fast as I can and jump into her arms, my legs around her waist, holding her tightly. Her arms fling around me immediately.
"I love you too.", I happily whisper into her neck with tears in my eyes and give her a kiss there.
I could feel her arms holding me tighter when I spoke, Cate burying her head more into my hair. After taking in her scent I lean my head up again to face her. She was smiling, crying aswell, and when I cup her cheeks into my hands, whispering: "I lov-", she leans in and kisses me hard. I could feel her smile against my lips grow, making me grin even more.
Hearing cheering and clapping from beside us, clearly coming from Sandy and my sister, we part. Opening my eyes I could see her grinning from ear to ear and she gives me a last peek before saying: "I love you too, my darling."
Looking at the two idiots now standing nearer to us we both start laughing, leaning into one another. I rest my head on her chest, under her chin, holding her tight. Cate had her arms under my ass, keeping me from falling down.
"You little bitch, you- FUCK YOU!", Daniel got all mad but before he could continue screaming at me Sarah kicks his balls, causing him to fall to the ground, wailing.
"Sarah!", I scream in shock, reducing the grip of my legs around her waist, letting them fall to the ground, and go a meter to stand beside my older sister but remain holding Cate's arm.
"He deserves it.", Sar shruggs. He indeed did but still I feel bad for the guy.
"And anyway.. what do you still care about him?", she scoffs.
"Sar, I may not love him and yes, he's an asshole but he's still a human with feelings..", I feel two arms gliding around my waist. Her arms. She rests her head on my right shoulder.
"You know, I love how caring and kind you are to people, no matter what they did to you.", she seductively whisper in my ear and kisses the spot just below it. Cate grinned and hugged me tighter.
"I do.", I say with tears in my eyes, standing infront of the woman I love, repeating her words. Smiling brightly she gives my hands a squeeze.
"You may now kiss the bride.", the parish priest announces, but before she could finish my wife pulles me closer by our intertwined hands, kissing me. My arms going around her neck, she rests hers around my waist and playfully pulls my middle against her body.
Sarah and Sandy, being the only audience, start applauding and cheering loudly. Smiling we part from our kiss but kept our gazes fixed on eachothers eyes, me being mesmerised by her beautiful blue orbs.
"I love you so much, Cate.", I whisper, still not being able to take in the fact she's finally mine. My wife.
All this time I always thought of home as a place, a building, usually where your family and loved once are. But in this moment, where it seemed like there's no one but me and her in this world, her loving eyes looking into mine and her gentle arms holding me, bringing me comfort and warmth, I now realise that home isn't always a place. Home can be so much more..
"I love you too, y/n darling.", she softly says with a smile and leans in, kissing my forehead before pulling me into a tight and warm hug, finally bringing me home. She is home.
