Lilly in Wonderland

I sat down trying to catch my breath on the table. I just wanted to be alone, I was trying so hard to be brave and not to cry. I jumped up and ran as fast as I could. I didn't know where I was going, I just didn't want to be there anymore. I ran, and I ran as fast as I could, not looking where I was going, and not caring, I felt the air blowing in my face when suddenly I didn't anymore, and I was falling deep into every little thing floating, I was screaming for my life but no one could hear me. I just kept on falling until I hit solid ground. I got up almost immediately. "Where am I?" I whispered to myself as I looked around, it was beautiful, there were so many vibrant colors, and creatures I'd never seen before. I quickly ducked realizing a flying bread was coming straight at me, I watched it in amazement as it flew past me. 

"Magnificent isn't it?" I turned around trying to figure out where it was coming from. A guy with a tall hat stood there looking at me. "where are we?" I finally asked him. "We'll be in Wonderland" Growing up my mother used to tell me stories all the time about Wonderland. "it's real?" I smiled at him. "tis" He walked closer to me, "and who might you be?" He asked me crossing his arms. "Alexandra Kingsleigh" he looked down at me and smiled. "Kinsleigh?" he asked. "yes" he finally uncrossed his arms and began to walk away, he stopped once realizing I wasn't following. "are you coming?" he asked waiting for me. "mhm" I ran up to him as we began to walk together. "I'm Theophilus Hatter, son of Mad Hatter," he said as we began to walk. "oh, that's why you said it like that" "mhm" he mumbled as we continued to walk. "where are we going"

"you'll see" I sighed not knowing where we were going, but then finally came to my senses. I stopped in place. "where are we going" he stopped too and turned around. He was close but not in an uncomfortable way. '' you're not gonna leave until I tell you are you?" he asked looking down at me. "Nope" I responded earning a laugh from him. "my dad would want to meet you" "we're gonna go see Hatter?" he crossed his arms once again and nodded. "you cross your arms a lot," I said saying what's on my mind. We both laughed at that comment. "c'mon" he turned around and begun to walk with me right next to him. Eventually, we arrived at a house shaped like a hat.

There were waterfalls all behind it, and it was on top of a green hill. He held the door open for me and smiled, "ladies first" I smiled and walked inside the house. It was very cluttered but it was beautiful, Theophilus walked in behind me after I was inside. "who's the girl" a dog said as she walked over to me and looked at me. My mom told me animals talked here but I was still in shock, I tried my hardest not to show it. "Libi this is Alexandra Kingsliegh, Dinah " "Kingsleigh" a weak voice spoke from the bedroom with no walls. Theophilus immediately took off his hat and held it in his hand. "yes father" He began to walk inside the room with me following him. "come here my dear, I wanna get a look at you" he sat up in his bed coughing a lot. i felt so bad. 

I walked over to him, and he picked up my hand and looked at it. Then he looked at my face. "you look so much like her" he whispered into my ear. " I get that a lot" I smiled at him. "I was in love with your mother," he said fully and not holding back. "I figured" I laughed. "alright come on Alexandra, my dad needs his rest," he said coming up to me. "yes you're right" he smiled at Theophilus and then at me. "it was nice meeting you. I smiled and nodded back at him, "same here" we walked out of the room into the kitchen, and then we stopped, and then he spoke, "Alexandra's too long, I'm gonna call you Alex" I just smiled at him, "I can't stop you now can i" he laughed at my remark. He put his hand on the kitchen counter. "not really" We both just smiled.  "CANDY!" a Hare came running at us and jumping up and down.

 Theophilus grabbed him quickly before he could run into us. "Corwin, you could've killed us" he laughed at him while still holding onto him. He grabbed his ears and laughed, "could of, let me go" he started to kick a lot. "okay, okay" he put him down and continued. "CANDY!!! CANDY!!" Theophilus laughed and smiled at me. "So that's Corwin" I laughed. "Tea time?" A white mouse asked jumping on top of the counter. He pulled out his pocket watch and checked the time. "well indeed it is "  "yay" the mouse jumped off of the counter and ran out of the house. "would you like to join us for tea time?" he asked turning to me. "I would be honored" he smiled and put his hand on his hip waiting for me to put my arm around it, I laughed as I did it, 

We went outside and a table was set up in front of the table. "how?" I whispered. He let go and looked at me, "magic" is what he said as he smiled and then walked to the table pulling out a chair. "after you" he smiled. I took a seat and he took the big chair right next to mine. "hi" I heard a male voice say from beside me. "hi" I smiled. "can I sit next to you?" he asked. "I wanted to sit next to her" the other one finally spoke. "I asked first" he argued back. I looked at Theophilus and we both just laughed. "haha" Elise yelled as she jumped and took the spot next to me. "Elise," they both said ins sync. I laughed at them as they finally took their seats at the end of the table sadly. "I came just for the tea" a blue cat appeared with a smile.  "here's some sugar" Crowing got a spoon and flung the sugar at him while he started to laugh with Elise. "mhm" Theophilus cleared his throat, they both stopped laughing immediately, "Sorry," they both said. 

He picked up the kettle and began to pour it into a tea cup and then handed it to me slowly. " I don't know if you like sugar in yours," he said handing it to me, "I do" I smiled and put the tea down. He grabbed the sugar and handed it to me. "hmm" that's what I'm talking about" Elise laughed as she took a huge gulp spilling a bunch of tea. I laughed and smiled at her.

"I heard about your mom, I'm sorry," he said as he began to clean a teacup so sincerely like he actually cares, he didn't even know her. "how, how did you find out?" he laughed, "you're very curious," he said looking down at me while smiling. "tis" he laughed at my remark. "Wonderland talks" is all he said. "thank you" is all I was able to get out. I turned my head and noticed a bunch of hats hanging on the wall. "well I am a hatter after all" he laughed "fair" I laughed at him. He walked up close to me. I could feel his breath on mine, our faces were inches apart. "did you make all of these?" he nodded and smiled at me. "your amazing"  he chuckled a little bit as he crossed his arms and began to lean on the brick wall, "are you flirting with me?" he asked jokingly, "in your dreams hatter".. We stayed like this, for what seemed like a year, not saying anything, just staring at each other.
