Rachel's P.O.V
It's been a week since we've gotten home from Christmas break, it was awesome I miss waking up next to Finn but I still see him all the time. Ya know staying with Finn made me see how what it would be like if Finn and I lived together, I know that we still have a couple of months until graduation and planning our future but I don't want to just love these last months and then it come time for Finn and I to split apart. So to get mind off of things I figured I would distract myself and go shopping with my dads since I never see them! So I quickly got dressed in some legging threw my Uggs on and put on my over sized "PINK" sweater that I love! I just put some eyeliner on and put my hair in a messy bun, I mean who do I really need to impress?
H- Rachel come on before we leave without you!
R- I'm coming I'm coming!
On the way to the mall my phone went off I got text, from Finn
F- hey beautiful I know your at the mall but I was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner later?
R- hi baby, yeah pick me up around 6 is that okay?
F- perfect, have fun at the mall I love you
R- I love you more
F- if you say so
I smiled and put my phone away so I could enjoy the day with my dads
Finns P.O.V
I woke up today and got the greatest news ever... I got excepted into NYU and I can't wait to tell Rachel, because I only told Rachel once when Bree kissed me that I was considering into going to New York with her, but since then which was months ago it was never brought up again. I'm super excited that I'm going to spend my future with the love of my life at the dream school studying my dream job, teaching. I figured I would be clever about it when I told Rachel she just thinks we're going out to dinner, but really I have something special planned. I just hope she likes it. It's 5:30 so I better going
Rachel P.O.V
After I got home from the mall I quickly got a shower dried my hair and then straitened it I put on black legging, my cute riding boots and big beige sweater that I loved! I just put on some foundation and mascara, Finn doesn't like when I wear too much makeup so I try to not wear as much. I hope I look alright Finn never said where we were going and let's face it Lima isn't the fanciest town so just hope where ever we do go I'm not under dressed. Or even over dressed
** the doorbell goes off, Leroy answers**
F- hello mr. Berry
L- oh Finn you know you can call me Hiram, please come in Rachel should be done soon
F- thank you
H- hi Finn,how are you?
F- I'm great thank you, how are you
H- great nice to be home for awhile
F- yeah I know Rachel loves it when your home
R- hi Finn
F- hi, you look gorgeous
R- thank you
L- well you guys have fun, and please have her back by 11 Finn, we trust you
F- of course mr. And mr. Berry
H- it's Hiram and Leroy, son
F- sorry, of course I will Hiram and Leroy
L- thank you, we will see you guys later

R- where are we going??
F- you'll see its a surprise
R- well I am dressed it for it?
F- you look running Rach
R- thanks Finn, so umm at the restaurant or where ever we're going I really want to talk to you
F- okay I actually have to talk to you.. Are you okay?
R- I'm great I just need to talk to you
F- okay well we're actually here
R- um a hotel? Finn listen I know that we had..
F- no no rach it's not what it looks like I would never do that to you, just come with you'll see
*** Finn takes her to top floor where there is a table with candles, over looking all of Ohio,
Kind of like something you would see from a skyscraper in New York***
R- wow it's beautiful kind of reminds me of New York
F- yeah, um there's kinda a reason I asked you to dinner. So you know how I said once that I was considering going to New York with you
R- yeah
F- well let's just say I am.. I got accepted into NYU I'm going to study teaching for music and I figured that since we're going to go to New York together I thought we should get used the skyline (laughs) and I remember you saying that it's so romantic to over look New York and have dinner on a sky scraper, I know it's not New York and it's not a sky scraper but u figured it will have to do until the real thing. So I know I want to go New York with you, but do you want to go to New York with me?
*** Rachel jumps into Finns arms***
R- I love you so so much Finn Hudson, no one has ever done this for me and I'm so glad you did this is by far the best thing anyone could do for me! Of course I want you to come to New York for me that's what I wanted to talk to you about our future, but I just want you to be sure that New York is where you want to go, because we can go anywhere you want of course I would want to go to New York but you're more important
F- what about Broadway? Isn't that your dream?
R- until I met you it was
*** Finn kisses Rachel ***
F- I love you Rachel, but New York is where I want to live.. With you
R- really!
F- really
R- I love you
F- I love you, come on before our food gets cold
F- let's toast (raises his glass)
R-( raises her glass) to the future
