As the days passed, you found yourself thinking more and more about your chance encounter with BTS. You couldn't believe that you had actually hung out with your favorite K-pop group, and you repeatedly replayed the night's events over and over in your head.
You had tried to play it cool when you met them, but deep down, you were a die-hard fan, and you couldn't help but feel a little starstruck in their presence. But as the night wore on, you realized that they were just normal guys, hanging out and having fun like anyone else.
Despite the excitement of meeting BTS, you couldn't shake the feeling of sadness that came with the knowledge that your time in Korea was limited. You were only there on a study abroad trip, and you had to leave by the end of the summer. The thought of leaving behind the vibrant culture, the delicious food, and the new friends you had made was bittersweet.
But as fate would have it, you were about to cross paths with BTS once again. This time, it wasn't under the best circumstances.
You were browsing through social media one day when you stumbled upon a video clip that made your heart sink. It was footage from the night you had spent with BTS, captured by someone with a camera phone. The video showed you hanging out with the members of BTS at the fried chicken joint and then at the arcade, laughing and having a good time.
But that wasn't the worst part. The person filming had added a caption to the video, alleging that you were romantically involved with one of the members of BTS. The rumor spread like wildfire, and soon everyone on social media was talking about it.
You felt sick to your stomach as you read the comments under the video. People were making assumptions and jumping to conclusions without knowing the full story. You knew that nothing had happened between you and any of the members of BTS, but you also knew that rumors like this could be damaging, especially to a group as popular as BTS.
You tried to shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in your stomach, but you couldn't help but worry about the impact this rumor would have on your reputation and on BTS's as well. You knew that you had to do something to set the record straight, but you weren't sure where to start.
Just then, your phone buzzed with a text message from an unknown number. You hesitated for a moment before opening it, but when you did, you saw that it was from Jimin.
"Hey, it's Jimin. Can we talk?" the message read.
Your heart skipped a beat as you read the message. Why would Jimin want to talk to you now, after all this time? Were you in even deeper trouble than you thought?
You took a deep breath and typed out a reply.
"Sure, what's up?" you wrote.
A few seconds later, your phone buzzed again.
"Can we meet up? I think it's better if we talk in person," the message read.
You hesitated for a moment before replying. You weren't sure if you were ready to face Jimin after the rumors that had been circulating, but you also knew that you couldn't avoid the situation forever.
"Okay, where and when?" you typed. Your heart started to race.
There was a pause before Jimin's reply came through.
"How about tomorrow afternoon? There's a café near my studio that I like. We can meet there at 3 pm?" the message read.
You agreed to the time and place, and then put down your phone, feeling a mix of nerves and anticipation. You had no idea what Jimin wanted to talk to you about, but you were determined to face whatever was coming your way head-on.
