The name of your great-grandfather is Qiūyǔ (秋雨).

In our household, he was what we had considered to be a "heroic" figure.

He had a habit of keeping his physical appearance somewhere in his twenties.

This caused other members of the household—who were born after him, to maintain an appearance of this age as well.

You can probably imagine how awkward it was for the junior members of our household to stand beside him—when their own appearance is much older.

In any case, the reason for Qiuyu maintaining such a youthful appearance—it was so that he could pick up any women that pleased his eyes.

Unlike your second uncle, Hongchen—who was a firm believer in the first-generation ancestor's words, your great-grandfather refused to believe in those words, and went on to have numerous mistresses.

As a result of your great-grandfather scattering his seeds wherever he goes, our household would receive numerous visitors annually—with them claiming to be his illegitimate children.

Due to this, our household always had tools to test an individual's blood, as a means to verify the truthfulness of their words.

Ultimately, Qiuyu only ever married three women officially.

Their names were Yú'er (鱼儿), Xiān Hè (仙鹤), and Qiānqiān (芊芊)

These three all possessed major backgrounds.

The one named Yu'er came from a household that was as powerful as our own, and their specialty was alchemy—making them one of the wealthiest practitioner households around.

The one named Xian He was the successor of a righteous sect called the Immortal Crane Palace.

Opposite of Xian He, the one named Qianqian—was the successor of a demonic sect called the Sacred Demon Gates.

With Xian He and Qianqian originating from sects founded on opposing ideals, it goes without saying that they do not get along with one another.

As a result of this, your great-grandfather had to deal with their destructive antics several times a month.

And due to the need to repair the damage—that his two wives would cause throughout the estate during these antics, your great-grandfather was often seen kneeling in front of Yu'er for money.

That's not to say that Yu'er was the most well-behaved of your great-grandfather's wives.

Yu'er, she was a woman who enjoyed seeing Xian He and Qianqian fight one another, so she would often be the one to instigate the fight, and flee right after.

Yu'er's reason for doing this—it's because she finds amusement in seeing your great-grandfather on his knees, begging her for money.

One time a clansman of ours had overheard her muttering to herself—

"Qiuyu, ah Qiuyu, regardless of how strong your cultivation base is, you're still ultimately at my mercy—due to those two's antics. This is why I'm the main wife; because unlike those two bitches, I'm the one who is able to knead you around in my palm whenever I want."

.........

"...So? Great-grandfather was basically what many would consider to be a fuck boy?"

Unable to refute the nine-year-old child's words, his father could only answer—

"...I suppose? Still, your great-grandfather's ability to gather the strength of three top-tier factions when needed—had saved our household time and time again. Not to mention—talent; it's something that is passed down through blood. All the children that he had were all extremely talented, and due to the financial support of Yu'er's family, our household had never been more prosperous."

"So that's why he's considered our household's heroic figure?"

Clearing his throat awkwardly, the child's father answers—

"The main reason was because he survived being hunted down by his three fathers-in-laws, who all wanted him dead for seducing their daughters. Those three were all individuals capable of cleaving the mountains, and parting the seas on a single whim."

"..."

Blinking his eyes, the child asks—

"Father, which one of my great-grandfather's wives was my great-grandmother? Also, did none of my great-grandfather's illegitimate children not want to beat him for his deeds?"

"It was Yu'er. As for your second question... Even if they did, they couldn't—due to the cultivation base difference between them; not to mention, the fact that he is their elder."
