He kissed me, hard, and I felt every nerve in my body light up in response to the feeling of his lips pressed single-mindedly against my own.
My breath shook as he pulled back just far enough so his cheek brushed against mine, sending shivers up and down the entire length of my body, as he moved to position his lips against my throat, probing and tasting my skin with his fiery tongue.
I felt as if I was dying, every single nerve ending in my body searing white-hot, my mind overloaded by the relentless sensations I gasped out his name, to desperately beg him to spare me, to tell him to stop, but the words caught in my throat.
He met my eyes with a gaze deeper than life itself, silently baring his entire soul with a single shared stare.
I was suddenly painfully aware of every single place he wasn't touching me, and, as if we now shared a single mind, he moved closer, pressing into me with as much of his body as physically possible.
With my breath caught in my throat, I pressed into him, desperately impatient to get him even closer.
Our mouths melded seamlessly together, and the previous charged silence of our shared gaze filled with gasps and groans, greedy breaths and earth-shattering touch as our bodies became one.
I never found him again.
Night after night I recount the encounter before I drift to sleep, only to scour the astral plane in a desperate search, but I've never happened to meet him again.
It's become an obsession that lingers behind my eyelids every waking moment.
Every name I hear resembles the one I'd gasped, never to remember it again.
Every dark-haired stranger I pass on the street, I see his face, every pair of pale blue irises, his eyes...
Those eyes that shattered my very soul and put it back together the way it had always meant to be.One day, I'll find you again.
