I recieve a text from August at ten o'clock. Oh no.
"OMG, TASHA."
No context.
"yes? whats wrong."
This wasnt the best time to recive this very concerning text, because at the same time Isla was texting me. I cant seem to catch a break, even on a school night.
"I just cant take him anymore, but i dont think I could ever break up with him yk"
"yeah fs i get it."
giving her half-baked responses is so exhausting.
"Tasha you'll never believe. Cedar is texting me saying he's not sure about him and Isla."
I audibly gasp. Two long years, and it's finally over.
"OMG? ACTUALLY?"
"hold on getting more info."
I sit back in relief and think as my phone is buzzing from notifications from Isla.
