The Boy From L.A.

Chapter 1- First Graders

Fall 2005- The start of the first grade .. how exciting ?! Well for little kids , that was pretty exciting . Mrs. Whorton a nice Caucasian teacher seated her new students of the 2005-2006 school year, in their assigned seats .

Janelle and me (Karoline) , got seated in a table with another little boy named Bryan , who had previously failed first grade cause he didn't know how to read well enough 😨 .

A little kid named Alex was told to sit at our table next to Bryan. Janelle and me (girls being girls), were talking about how excited we are about first grade . Then this rude little boy who was told to sit at our table rudely interrupted us . His name was , (can you guess who? yup, that's right..) Alex . From then on he became our "enemy" . We didn't like him cause he was so rude and annoying .

Once , me and Janelle were telling each other secrets and he decides to come and ask us what we're talking about and if he can join .. We got mad cause (once again) he interrupted our little girl talk time . I know what ya'll are thinking . "Why did yall get mad? why didn't you just let him join?" Think about it this way , some really annoying kid in your class who's constantly trying to communicate with you and your friend . Ya'll told him many times to stop and to just leave ya'll alone but he keeps on doing the same thing over and over again .. wouldn't you dislike him and get frustrated every time he tries to talk to you ?

As everyone always thought when they were young "if a someone annoys you a lot , then that means they like you ." but to be totally honest , that never slipped our minds cause we didn't think like that till later on .

First grade was basically a year of making new friends , learning new stuff , meeting new people , yelling "COOTIES COOTIES" every time a girl touches a guy or a guy touches a girl . It was a year to remember cause it was a start of something new ..
