Voices.

Quiet voices.

Loud voices.

Whispering voices.

Crying voices.

Crazy voices.

Angered voices.

So many voices.

I could hear them all loud and clear. It wasn't like the black void I was previously in, it was silent in there. This however, was incredibly loud.

I'm not talking, gives you a headache loud, I'm talking, makes you want to smash your head into a wall loud.

I could hear every single little thing they spoke about. And I could easily tell who most of them were.

The people loudest were my family. They were crying and whispering to eachother saying,"Wenny is gonna be fine dear, it's ok, don't worry."

Pathetic.

Everything was not going to be ok.

My head was reeling, my skin was itching, my stomach was aching. Nothing was ok.

Nevermind the fact that I somehow managed to gain injuries from dangerous 'visions' I had. Oh no, I could worry about that a different time. I want to know what these 'visions' even are.

I mean, I had one about me getting stabbed and one about me literally flying and burning myself with a mysterious liquid from a cauldron. Just how much more difficult can my life get?

Awh poor Wenny.
She's so weak.
hEhAHeHAha!

Go away.

She's such a pathetic little girl.
hEhAHeHAhahE!
She's so dramatic.

GO AWAY.

...

Another thing to add to my list of reasons why my life sucks. Im going fucking insane. I'm gonna have thousands on there before the end of the week at this rate.

---------------------------------------------------

Despite the fact that I was very much awake, I couldn't move my arms. And when I peaked from under my eyelids, I saw that they were covered in casts of some sort. Well I think they're casts? Who knows what doctors do for patients who break physics on the daily.

I really didn't have enough energy for talking to my family so I just laid still, waiting for them to leave so I could finally have peace. Except that didn't come for a while.

---------------------------------------------------

After what felt like days, but I know must have been only a few hours, my family were ushered out of the ward as visiting hours were over.

I couldn't hear voices anymore so I cautiously lifted my eyelids. My eyes darted around quickly as they made out a few objects in the room.

Next to me was a machine of some sort, though I couldn't make out what machine because of the lack of light. I could see to the end of the bed but I couldn't see much more than that due to the curtains pulled around me.

Despite only being awake for a few hours, I was beyond tired and tried getting some sleep. However, it wasn't as easy as I imagined.

I heard something clatter to the ground. Maybe a patient accidentally knocked something off a table? Of course the noise caused my eyes to snap open. I'm an incredibly light sleeper and have fast reflexes so even the tiniest sounds can wake me up.

What was absolutely terrifying though, was the hand placed around my curtain. I stared at it thinking maybe it was the light playing tricks on me but it didn't disappear as my eyes adjusted to the dark. Still, I continued to stare  at it, wishing that maybe if I stared long enough it would evaporate into dust.

What a stupid thought.

It slowly crept closer. My eyes were locked on it. The hand grew larger as more of the 'monster' came into view. I was terrifying. The hand was attached to a long and slender arm. Although it seemed to blend in with the surroundings due to the darkness. I could make out the outline of a tall, lanky body. It was more than 7ft tall, almost as high as the curtains.

I stared at it in fear. I didn't know what to do. Maybe it would leave me alone. Maybe it's attracted to sound. Maybe it's not real. But I could see it so it must be real. Right?
