Presentation:

Why are they called The Rose?: "It's a name to show music that coexisted with the beauty of flowers and the sharpness of thorns" – Woosung

The Rose is a K-Band who debuted in 2017. There are 4 members:

- Woosung (Kim Woosung or Sammy his english name), the leader, lead vocalist and guitarist (electric). He's Korean but lived in Los Angeles, California for a long time. His rose is white (=Pure/Purity).

- Dojoon (Park Dojoon), main vocalist, keyboardist and guitarist (acoustic). He's Korean. His rose is red (=Passion and Entusiastic).

- Hajoon (Lee Hajoon), drummer, sub vocalist and rapper. He's Korean. His rose is blue (=Miracle).

- Jaehyeong (Lee Jaehyeong), maknae (youngest), bassist, sub vocalist and visual. He's Korean. His rose is red (=Happiness and Romantic).

The fandom name is Black Rose.

I discovered the group back in 2020 when I started listening to KPop with their song 'She's in the Rain' and I started stanning them in january 2022 (so it's been a year now).

RED is the first single album released by the group the 13th of August in 2019. In this album, you can find 3 tracks: California, RED and RED (Instrumental).

Analyse and Opinion:

- California: It's an english song. I really liked the vibe. For me it's feel like a song that you can listen during a road trip in the end of summer. I feel really nostalgique when I'm listening to it. The vocals are sublime as always. The vibe of the song goes well with the lyrics but I think that the prod is not enough elaborate (especially compare to RED). Note: 6.5/10

- RED: I fucking love this song. So good vibe. The guitare, the first note at the beggining that can help you distinguished the song in less than 3 seconds. It give me hyyh vibe and I'm here for it. Same as California, the vocal are imaculate but it's Woosung who's singing so I'm not surprised. Note: 8/10

Conclusion: Not enough music for me, I love their song and I would have liked more song. The lyrics are good but can clearly be better (especially for California). It's still a good single album even if I prefer other of their work.
