Jamie saw that his clothes and gloves had dirt on and guessed that he had been outside already. Jamie was getting up when he saw that there was another blue and white plant sat on the windowsill. He then got up and went to put his shoes on, leaving the slip-on ones inside.
Once outside, Jamie looked around the area in more detail than earlier. The ground was bright green and filled with a bunch of different flowers. One of the most prominent things he noticed was the way that the area around the pond was more earth-like than the rest of it. He guessed this was where the passage was located. On the edge of the pond, Jamie noticed that there was a freshly dug hole next to a flower that looks like the two he saw inside. He also saw similar flowers that differed only in the colour of the petals. He continued walking around the area before deciding to sit next to the pond.
While he looked at his reflection, Jamie noticed how one small part of the pond seemed to be far more organic than the rest. He figured that this was the portal's location.
"that's where the opening is," Jamie quickly turned around, startled. Bad was standing two metres away, appearing to try and not scare him.
"I thought that might be the case," he replied, after recovering from the scare. Bad started walking closer to the pond and Jamie noticed the book and trowel he had in his hands. He stepped back and started watching what Bad was doing.
At the water's edge, Bad placed down the book next to some purple flowers that grew in a small patch. He then scoured through the book, looking for the purple flowers' entry. Once he had found it, he skimmed through the words before putting the trowel next to the flowers. Bad pulled out a small notebook that Jamie hadn't noticed before and started to compare the contents to the book's.
