Ive been searching for my mate for a long time although i am only human or so we think maybe fingers crossed 🤞 i have a ton of friends who are from the town's werewolf pack. I was adopted when i was 3 so i dont know who my real parents are, what my lineage is or even what day i was fucking born it blows but my (adoptive) mom Katherine decided early on that im a scorpio and that my birthday would now and forever more be October 27th its a cute date a meaningful one im told.
Okay so it is cute so basically my mom and dad (adoptive)  have always felt like they were soulmates from the time they were 3 they were playing house having fake weddings bickering over what they're future kids  i.a me and my sister were going to be named  all the stuff i think they were meant to be parents so anyway one day my mom and dad were bickering about what zodiac sign they're kids would be they were teenagers at this point and dad for some odd reason wanted a leo just to annoy mom because she wanted a Sagittarius and a scorpio and dad goes "nah were going to have 3 leos and a cancer" mom cries out "eeeeeeew no what am i having a damn litter? our house would be total chaos, besides my body dont do leos" she smiled to which he laughs and responds "oh yeah well im just only going to fuck you during October" " nooooooo that's cheating you cant do that" and they started play fighting and the rest is history

My dad was " devastated" when Skyla came out a Sagittarius, well not really it was always just to bug mom. My parents are eccentric to say the least and its hard not to play into it with them, honestly between you and me i think i might secretly be a leo  but shhh dont tell mom

So anyway now that the intros are over heres what happened

So there i am sitting in my kitchen minding my business writing my essay for college when my mom comes in running "i got it!  you should see a psychic" " what why got what?"
She begins rambling " well we still dont know if your a werewolf or not-" dad interrupts "which we'll love you no matter what by the way" mom continues "-but we dont know and wont know until we find your mate "

"Wait what what do you mean you dont know if im a werewolf ? Im so confused wouldn't i have turned at 13 like Skyla im turning 21 soon and wouldn't you be able to smell it on me or something"

Dad chimes in " oh yeah okay so we forgot to tell you so basically in some people if they don't know they're a wolf it can choose to stay dormant in them until they meet they're mate also if there's something else it can choose not to reveal itself until they're 21?"

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK GUYS??? SOMETHING ELSE???? FORGOT TO TELL ME CRUCIAL INFORMATION??? WHAT THE HELL?"

"1. Dont swear at me 2. Yeah your mom just sucks like that" he shrugs
"EARNIE!!!" She slaps him on the shoulder "your fathers pointing fingers aside i think a psychic could get you out of this funk your in"

I sigh "what funk mom?"

"Your dating funk you never bring any guys-"

"Or girls we don't judge" dad interrupts

" or girls..." mom continues " home and we're worried about you like what if you die alone, your father and i have been soulmates our entire lives and now jess and Skyla found each other and honey we just want someone for you too"

"Okay first of all you and dad were damn near an arranged marriage your parents are best friends who planned this from the start and happened to get lucky when you came out as mates, Skyla and jess were best friends who figured it out kinda late in life, if anything the odds were stacked towards y'all im just now finding out that i am maybe human? I guess and if im being honest have never really even expected to find a mate Ive just been focusing on my classes and getting my degree I honestly dont have time for this right now"

Dad interjects "look although your mom is crazy it doesn't mean shes wrong, we will love you no matter what and till the end of time so your choice is your choice all were asking is that you think about it" and with that he drags mom out of the room before she can really even say anything else.
