SATURDAY HIT THE NEXT DAY AT THE SMALL TOWN OF RAVENSLIGHT. The sound of birds chirping, and the wind breezing where heard vibrating along to the beat of the rain, that Cora Rosewood was greeted with in the morning. And in the first time, in centuries.. She felt at peace. Which was rare for her. And the brunette, hearing the rain had immediatly opened her bedroom window. Just normally leaning out in her window ledge, watching the rain pouring. As she was deep in thought.
The vampire could hear soft knocking against her door, she just hummed as a response for Luella to understand that she could come in. And the witch, getting the message did just that. The short haired witch walked besides Cora, crossing her arms. As Luella's lips quivered into a smirk.
"Are you thinking what I am?" Luella inquired from the short brunette — brows furrowing up. Cora rolled her eyes at her bestfriend. Knowing full well that she wants to go to the Ravenslight Grill to stir up the pot. One thing about Luella, and that she loves to mix up the lives of people.
"Don't even think about it," Cora shut down the witch's idea. Who gave a pout at her bestfriend's rather moody demeanour today. And Luella knew full well that Cora was in a desperate need of a snack. Right from the flesh of a human by now. "Cora! Don't be a party pooper babe!" Luella frowned.
Cora, placing her folded arms off of the window ledge stared at Luella, with a playful glare her way. As she walked to her vanity, staring at her reflection yet again. Grasping onto her necklace. Admiring the centuries old design of the locket, which she so deeply loved.
"It's not that. It's just, what if Scott is scared of me by now?" Cora voiced her worries, bringing her fingers close to her mouth, ready to chew on her nails, if it wasn't for Luella smacking her hand away. Seeing the vampire's worries.
"Nonesense Coraline! You know well that he's not scared. Shocked? Most definitly. But not scared!" Luella insisted to her worried friend, seeing the vampire working herself up over the stupidest of things right now. Yeah, Luella knew that Cora is a bit of an overthinker, but she shouldn't be as pessimistic as she can actually be after she did some overthinking.
Cora breathed in, and just nodded at Luella trying to be comforting, which she did appreciate, even if the centuries old witch doesn't know how to be soothing to someone due to her traumatic and cold past. Cora really is satisfied with the amount that Luella gives her. So, the vampire just smiled weakly at the hybrid witch.
"Atleast that was somewhat soothing." Cora shrugged, crossing her arms over her chest. Luella just smiled. "I'll leave you to get ready." With that—, the witch excused herself. As Coraline nodded, staring at herself in the reflection of the mirror, trying to guess what the inside feelings she felt where. Cora felt somewhat relieved yet happy. But one thing she knew is that she needs to visit Scott to get the reassurance that she so desperately needs to hear. As Luella's wasn't really enough to be honest.
