My POV
Oh. My. God. Guess what just happened? I was with Beau and we were at the restaurant that we went to for our first ever date and... He asked me to marry him! I actually can't believe it! I love him so much and I can't believe we're going to get married soon. This is going to be amazing. I love Beau so much. I remember when I met him 9 years ago...
I was with Tasha and we'd decided to go to the beach that day. I was lying on the beach listening to my music, whilst Tasha was reading her magazine next to me. I opened my eyes and looked around to see who else was on the beach and I saw the five most gorgeous guys I'd ever laid my eyes on. I nudged Tasha and said to her "look over there at those guys" I winked
"Haha they're hot" she laughed back at me, with a twinkle in her blue eyes, "should we go over and talk to them?" She asked me.
"Yeah sure!" I replied, although I remember being really nervous about speaking to them. I'm not really one of those beautiful girls that you'd expect to be hanging round guys like that. Tasha is though. She's absolutely stunning! She's got a PERFECT figure and I can remember the bikini she was wearing that day... It was a bright, neon pink bikini, with a halter neck on top. It looked amazing on her and really brought out her tan. Anyway, despite me being so nervous, we went over to them.
"Hi guys!" Tasha said, of course she wasn't nervous, she had nothing to worry about!
"Hi" I mumbled.
"I'm Tasha and this is Becca" Tasha continued.
"Hey! I'm Luke, this is Jai" he pointed to someone who looked exactly like him, "this is Beau" he pointed to this gorgeous guy, who winked at me, "this is Skip and this is James" they were all so hot. I could tell that Tasha liked Luke the best.
"So how are you?" James asked.
"We're good thanks" Tasha replied, flashing a smile, "any of you guys wanna catch a dip in the ocean?" She asked.
"Yeah!" All the guys replied.
Suddenly we all rushed over to the sea. Beau was shoving Jai and Luke into the water.
After a while, we all went back to lying on the sun beds and I saw Tasha lying on top of Luke. "Haha she's such a flirt" I thought to my self. James, Skip, Luke and Beau were all talking amongst themselves and I was sitting there, a bit awkwardly. I remember Jai coming over to me and saying "hey um, my brother Beau wanted me to give this to you" and he handed me someone's number. I looked over at Beau and he smiled and made the 'call me' sign. I couldn't tell if he was joking or not? Why would he want me to call him? Surely he could get any girl he wanted. But I got out my phone and texted him then, just to make sure it really was his number.
'Hey' I said to him.
I heard his phone beep, meaning he'd got the message and he took it out at replied to me.
'Hey ;)' he replied to me.
After that day, Beau and I were texting a lot and we met up again, it wasn't like a date or anything, but we went to the cinema. We went out a couple more times (still as just friends) and it had been just under a year until he actually asked me to be his girlfriend. By that time, I thought we were just in the 'friend zone' so I was quite surprised! The day when Beau asked me out, it had been two weeks since Luke and Tasha's 3 month anniversary...
Wow. That seems like such a long time ago now! Beau and I have been going out for about 8 years! And now we're going to get married. Wow this is amazing. Beau was basically my best friend before we went out and so we're really close and I can literally trust him with everything.
Tasha's POV
IM SO HAPPY FOR BECCA. Finally Beau's asked her to marry him. They're literally the cutest couple. I can't wait for the wedding.
"Luke!" I shouted
"Yeah?" He replied
"Did you hear about Beau and Becca?" I asked, as he walked down the stairs.
"Yeah! I'm so happy for them!" He exclaimed.
"I know same!" I replied, "do you remember when you asked me to marry you?"
"It feels like such a long time ago now..." He said. He was right. It was four years ago. We'd been going out for like just over three years and even though it seemed like the relationship was going quite quickly... It was perfect.
