°•☆○☆•°°° I WATCHED AS BABY (DEANS CAR)  PASSED THE 'welcome to mystic falls' sign as Metallica played loudly throughout the car. It had been hours since we last stopped. Sam had fallen asleep in the back, Dean was hopped up on truck stop coffee banging his hands on the steering wheel. He paused his banging noticing the sign too. I look at him as he reached to turn down the volume. He look at me wordlessly then winked. I knew what that meant I reached up to the car handle above me and braced myself. Dean quickly slammed on the brakes effectively  waking up Sam, and possibly giving him a concussion as he slammed his head onto the front seats.

"ow Dean what the hell?" Sam said, he was still sluggish and was clearly angry but didn't have the energy to yell.

"Wakie wakie Sammy."  Dean said with a cocktail smirk as he began driving again.

"Do we really need to take this vacation?" I questioned beginning to put up my boot covered feet on the dash. Ignoring Sam's potential concussion.

"Yes we need to lay low, and you need to finish highschool." Sam said with a light groan to his voice as he continued to rub his head.

"I'm just saying I think I drew the short straw here." I mummbled fidgeting with the bottom of my skirt.

"You did not pull the short straws, there's no short straw to pull in this situation, right Sammy." Dean briefly turned towards sam as if to get him to reassure me.

"Yeah yeah, dean's right, this is a vacation of sorts." Sam added to dean's words in a futile attempt to make me feel better about this trip.
