(THIS IS HUMANIZED BTW)

I got up from my little leaf bed in the cave and checked the makeshift calendar I made. I yawned and rubbed my eyes as I stared at it, trying to remember what day it was. After a few minutes I remember, today was the fifth day of the Festival of Life!

I woke up completely and shook my head, remembering what I did in the last few days.

On the first day of the festival, I was able to find a dress I used to wear during the festival days.

The second day I spent cleaning the dress and adjusting it so it fit me, since I don't have the money to buy the same dress but different size.

Third day, I fixed up the tears the the dress and also wrote a letter to Pickle and Mic. I miss them.

Fourth day, I made some accessories out of flowers and lemon leaves.

It was the fifth day now, so we had at least four more days of the festival.

I glanced at the dress that was being hanged by a string and smiled. Slipped on the outfit and put on the flower crown with the lemon leaves. Checked outside of the cave and perked up, it was a perfectly sunny day.

Oh how lucky I feel today.

I took chuckled to myself, "I guess I can dance by myself for now.."  I muttered to myself as I walked out of the cave, shaking off some dirt off my white gloves as I made my way to the clearing.

It was the same clearing as when I first met Mic. It brought back a few memories, which made me freeze in place. I stared at the stumps, clenching my fists. I wish I wasn't so greedy back then, but that doesn't matter anymore. It's been long enough for me to reflect, and this will hopefully help me with these thoughts.

I shake my head and take a deep breath, closing my eyes. I can feel the sun shining on my skin as I twirled and danced. I felt at peace with myself as I opened my eyes every few moments to make sure I didn't run into anything. After a bit I closed my eyes once again, keeping them closed as I trusted my instincts to keep my safe. I continued to dance, my dress swaying along as I imagined the songs they'd play during the festivals. I felt like I was home and a child once again.

-FLASHBACK-

The group of children giggled as they ran in the crowd, the parade next to them flashing it's bright colors as the performers danced. Music played loudly as the people on the floats banged on their drums and the singers sang. People watched the parade and bought stuff from the stands nearby, the children still running and racing against the parade.

Taco was one of the faster children, her bright yellow dress going with the wind as she ran quickly. Her friends close behind. This was going to be Taco's last festival in her home town, so her and her friends wanted to make the best of it. They finally made it to their destination, the park. The parade was still happening in the streets but the kids decided to have a little break.

Taco couldn't recall who were with her, but she clearly remembered three of them. Charlie, Archie, and Mixie.. The group of children took a little breather and looked at each other, then locking eyes with the person they wanted to partner with. Taco immediately walked toward Mixie as she giggled and nodded.

The group was even numbered, so everyone had a pair. They all sang along as they danced with the music in the streets, their parents nearby and recording.

-FLASHBACK END- (+ switch to third person)

Taco then let herself fall backwards, knowing no one would catch her. But, someone did. They took her hand and caught her by the waist. She opened her eyes and was quite shocked to see who caught her.
