Priest Diluc x Fallen Angel Venti

At the Church

As Diluc walked out of the church, he heard a rustling in the bushes. Before he went to investigate "DILUC! We need you in here!" As Diluc heard his name. He rushed back in to find that one of the kids in the choir had run off. "Diluc, I think they went towards the meadow. Over near the creek." The lady in charge of the choir said to Diluc since she was old and couldn't run. "Don't worry, I will find them," Diluc responded calmly. 

^When Diluc got to the creek^

"Timmie! Where did you go?" Diluc shouted as he kept looking for him. He then heard a sharp crackling sound to see a branch on the ground, mere inches away from hitting him. Diluc let out a relieved sigh. Then he saw Timmie feeding the ducks. "Timmie... You can't keep running away from the choir like that." Diluc said as he walked up to Timmie. "Oh, sorry... It was just the birds would all be here and I wanted to feed them!" Timmie said as he turned to Diluc. "C'mon Timmie. Let's go back," Diluc said as he grabbed his hand and brought him back to the choir. 

After that, Diluc went back outside to look for the strange noise he had heard earlier. He had then seen the strings of a broken lyre and black feathers surrounding the strings. As if a bird had fallen from the sky. Diluc picked up the strings of the broken lyre and picked up the feather, which was black as ink. 

Diluc then walked up to Timmie and asked "Timmie? Do you know what kind of bird feather this is?" Diluc said as he watched the young boy inspect the feather he had brought in. "If I didn't know any better, I would say this is a magpie... But, there is a faint white tint to it." Timmie said as he continued to inspect the feather closely. "Where did you find this Diluc?" Timmie said as he looked at Diluc. "In the wooded area over there," Diluc said as he pointed towards the bushes and trees. "This looks like a fallen angel feather," Timmie said as he gave the feathers back to Diluc. "But Fallen angels don't come to earth? Why would there be an angel feather?" Diluc said as he looked at the feather. 

Diluc escorted Timmie back to the choir. He then went to look for what Timmie presumed to be a fallen angel feather. He then kept hearing the plucking of a lyre, mixed with arrows shooting from a bow. He then looked where he had originally found the feathers and lyre strings. Diluc then turned back to the church. To see the tip of an arrow pointing at his face. 

"Who are you?" The face from behind the bow said. Diluc then noticed that it seemed like a female figure. Whoever it was, they were wearing clothing that exposed their whole stomach and wearing short pants. "Answer my question. Who. Are. You." The figure said as Diluc continued to study them. Diluc then noticed that they had wings falling down slowly, then he noticed the colors of the wings. It came from a soft-looking white feather then turned to black stiff looking feathers

Then a strong gust blew off the hood of the mysterious figure. Revealing two small braids, with their tips red and deep blue hair color on the rest of their hair. Diluc then pulled up his cross necklace and then the mysterious figure slowly lowered their weapon. The figure slowly came to its knees and began to hold its head. Looking startled. They slowly seemed as if they were knocked out. They lay on the grass. They seemed almost dead. 

Diluc then put the figure on his back, carrying them on his back. The figure's wings drooped as he brought them back. Everyone in the choir head left, not a single person was left there. He walked to his car and put them down on the back seat. Covering them with an old jacket he kept in his car. He drove both of them to his home. He quickly put them in a spare bedroom. Covering them in the blanket. 

^Around an hour later^

Diluc had invited some of his friends, Ayato, Thoma (Who had been dragged along with Ayato), and his brother, Kaeya who then brought his boyfriend, a shy young alchemist named Albedo. They were all having coffee and tea in his kitchen when they heard a loud crash from upstairs. Diluc calmly walked upstairs to the extra bedroom and saw the figure hiding in a closet. "Where am I? Who are you?" The figure said, hidden in the closet. "I'm Diluc." He responded to the question from the figure. 

"Who are you, may I ask?" Diluc said as he peeked at them through the small holes in the closet door. "I-I'm Venti..." The figure said in a lower voice than he expected. Diluc at first suspected they were female. He then figured out they were male. "C-can you let me go?" Venti said as he slowly revealed himself to Diluc, hiding from the cross that he wore around his neck. "Well... I don't know..." Diluc said as he approached Venti, who was still partly hiding in the closet. Venti went farther in the closet, attempting to hide from Diluc. 

Diluc walked back downstairs and all of his friends looked at him. "Who was that?" Kaeya asked looking at his brother. "Someone..." Diluc said, trying to avoid eye contact with him. "Albedo, go with Thoma and Ayato for a second, I need to talk with my brother," Kaeya said as he turned to Albedo. Albedo smiled and went to talk to the other couple. 

"Soooooooo?" Kaeya said as he followed his brother. Diluc sighed and turned to him "What do you want Kaeya?" Diluc said as he was about to walk back into the spare bedroom. As Kaeya started talking indistinctly in the background. Venti popped his head out of the closet to see what was going on. "Who's that?" Venti said quietly. Diluc turned around hearing the young boy's voice. "He's my brother, his name is Kaeya," Diluc said. As Venti slowly came out of the closet. He tried to hide his wings behind his back. Kaeya smiled and waved to Venti, not caring of the sight of the wings. 

Albedo ran up the stairs to grab Kaeya's stomach and started panicking, "Hey Blondie? What's wrong?" Kaeya asked as he turned to Albedo. "SPIDER ON THE WALL!" Albedo said as he pointed to the wall on the stairs. "C'mon, I'll grab a tissue and kill it for you," Kaeya said as he watched the Albedo cling to him. Albedo looked at Venti. Who saw the spider and walked towards the spider. Putting his hand out for the spider to crawl on. 

"Hmm... His name is Toxic. He fell through the window and couldn't get out. He found nice insect hunting in the attic then he came out into the hallway." Venti said as the spider crawled on him. "Okay, you just want to leave? Hmm okay, I will open the window." Venti said as he brought the spider back into the room and brought the small spider to the window to release him into the wind. "Hmm... They can talk to spiders... Completely normal," Diluc said as he watched Venti. 

"Albedo, you can look now. The spider is gone." Kaeya said as he turned to his startled boyfriend. "It is?" The shy alchemist said as he looked around. "Yep, anyway, this is Albedo!" Kaeya said as he picked up Albedo. "Well, this is Venti," Diluc said as Venti walked forward. "Hi!" Albedo said as he also didn't care much about Venti's wings due to the fact that his lab partner had ears. 

"Venti, there should've been some clothes for you to change into in that closet. Go change." Diluc said as he looked at Venti. Venti listened and changed into a blue hat with a Ceilia on it and a teal-looking sweatshirt. With black sweatpants and white socks. He walked down the stairs after he hid his wings. He had followed Diluc down the stairs and introduced himself to Ayato and Thoma who had been downstairs in the kitchen the whole time. 

"Bye Diluc!" The boys said before leaving Diluc at his house. Venti walked back up the stair and jumped out a window. "Venti! What are you doing?" Diluc said as he watched him jump out the window. Venti sat down on the roof of the building and then sat down with his wings clearly exposed. Diluc sat next to Venti. "Why did you come out here?" Diluc said as he looked at Venti. "I came here for the peace, the breeze is very calming," Venti said as he closed his eyes. 

After a while, Diluc went back inside and Venti continued to sit down on the roof. Later Diluc came to the roof to check on him. Venti was still looking at the sky with his wings out. Seeming to play a partially broken lyre. Diluc watched him peacefully as Venti played a majestic melody. He then turned back to grab a cup of tea to bring to Venti. He went to the roof with Venti and handed him the cup of tea.

Venti, who he saw as cold and intimidating as a blizzard from Dragonspine. Smiled for the first time since they met. He watched Venti slowly sip his tea. "Thank you," Venti said quietly as he put the cup down. He continued to play his broken lyre. Diluc then watch him pick up his lyre. Diluc kept watching him play for a little while and then he noticed that they had been sitting out there for hours. 

"We should go back inside, I don't have to go to the church tomorrow I don't think, but I think we should," Diluc said as he watched Venti put down his lyre. "Oh, okay... But... will I go back?" Venti said as he looked back at the forest near the church.
