Are you kidding me?! I thought to myself. I need to get another physical?! I'm just transferring!!

I had just been transferred to a new fire station in a new city. I had gotten a physical before I got hired, I kinda just expected them to use my old results. I guess not.

I made my appointment. Great, now I have to find a new doctor. All I could think about were the negatives. I had to move stations because I went through a really bad breakup with one of my team members. Never date someone you work with. After the rest of the station caught wind, I knew it was time to move on. But that didn't stop my negative thoughts about moving. Oh well though, I'll just have to start over I guess.

The day of my appointment rolled around and I walked up to the front desk. "Hi, I'm akshara, I have a physical today." The lady typed on her computer without even looking at me. "Oh, yes, I'm sorry we meant to call you, Dr Samantha is out sick today." She said flatly. "What?! No, I need this appointment done today! I need it for my job. Is there anyone else available?" I begged. Finally she glanced up at me and somehow I think I saw a slight flicker of sympathy. "We'll, I see here you had requested a female doctor but the only other doctor we have right now is a male. He has done many physicals before, but he is a man." She said, still flat. I sighed with frustration. I really didn't want a male doctor looking at me all around. But I didn't have much choice. I needed this exam done. "Uhg, fine, if he can squeeze me in, I'll just deal with it." I said reluctantly. "Great, please just fill out this new patient paper work and we'll call you back shortly."

I sat and filled out the papers. Uhg, this is just great.

"Akshara" someone called. It was one of the nurses. I got up and followed her to a room with a little bed. "Please take all your clothes off and put on this robe. Then lay down, Dr.abhimanyu will be back here soon.

I took all my clothes off and waited. Finally, a tall, black haired brown eyed young man walked in. "Hi akshara, I'm Dr. Abhimanyu , I'll be taking care of you today."
