I stepped off of the edge and turned around. I saw his face. A face I recognise. A voice I recognise. I can't think of a name. He smelled like smoke. I knew that smell. " I'm Jake," he said." I'm gonna help you"

I got into his car. I felt the urge to light a cigarette. I knew I couldn't just light one in a strangers car. We arrived at a house a long way from Waterloo. It was Nottingham. I tried to think of who this man could be, then it hit me. Jake bugg had just saved my life.

I was in Jake Bugg's house. I am in Jake Bugg's house. I am not worthy of being in this house. I am not worthy of being in this world.
