Fading into the scene was Nepgear, who was standing in an environment set of just black. Neutral but attentive, she then spoke up to the readers' side in a narration. "It's been a day since that ambush, but it's likely that the Myakishev Imperium is waiting for us to liberate Ultra Dimension. That said, we might have a fight in our hands once we pull in our military might too, but we have to know the full situation there first. And from what I hear, everyone's fighting back against this awful empire.

"One of the CPU-like entities, these RIGs, named Ametrine, ambushed us as we were on our way to the gateway. I was greatly injured after that, but the wounds are healing only slowly. Why does it seem like the healing process is slow when the share energy CPUs use can do the trick? Well... Uni's explaining that in a second briefing to be conducted before the landing recon team enters Ultra.

"Then... another incident: RIG Chat attacks Uni, but it seems Uni was able to fend the intruder off, finally activating Share Aura of her own while on HDD. She spared Chat because the other had some doubts on the ideals of The Imperium. For that, Uni is expecting to see RIG Chat in the near future.

"As for the plans in the operation? It hasn't changed. We need to find out the full condition of Ultra Dimension, and gather fighters to help us liberate their Gamindustri, but that is also while we keep an eye out on spies in Hyper Dimension as well. We'll be splitting, and I feel rather anxious. It'll be better if I'm with my sister, but... I feel she's slowly recovering after what she's been through, and what we've both accomplished, having unlocked a power that helps her through her impulses. The Share Aura is something else... like also a healing factor for her.

"Well... That's pretty much it." Nepgear smiled as she concludes. "On to the chapter! See you there!"

The set fades to black and the chapter begins.

Nepgear's eyes were closed, feeling dismayed by what she heard by now while she and Neptune were alone in their Planeptower Penthouse living room that morning. "You... can't come?"

Neptune had a serious face as she replied. "Nah, I really can't. Sounds like the gravity of things are really heavier here with a spy among us. I gotta be around to keep things from tearing itself from the inside. Besides... Vert is doing the same, returning to Leanbox."

"Oh." Nepgear paid attention and was feeling better as she spoke up afterwards. "That means the twins are coming?"

"Just Ram, actually." Histoire came into the living room just then and joined the two in conversation. "It would seem that Rom believes that Loweeans are starting to doubt the ability of Pink and Blue Snow. There were recent shakeups between small political parties back home after talks of a reform in the nation, and it recently got out of hand. So... the twins decided to split for the meantime."

Nepgear was surprised of the decision and inquired something from Histoire. "What kind of reforms?"

"For example: Policies about different media present in their games... how they're presented outside Lowee... Basically some products are becoming exclusives in Lowee only and two sides of it, those who favor open-waters sales and those who favor exclusives sales in-country, are highly debated and worse with issues being decided by fist fights. This has something that needs to be paid attention to, and Rom is volunteering to stay behind for this." Histoire explains in detail before tackling another topic. "Though in another matter, we're ready to try again with our attempt to reach the gateway. Now we know The Imperium is watching that entrance, I'm not risking you all by going on foot again."

Neptune smiled before she speaks. "That's where Noire's attack jeeps come in!"

"Attack jeeps?" Nepgear replied with a surprised look. "Do we really need to go that far?"
