Chapter 1: Drifter

Huh?

Where am I?

..... Did I reach an island yet?

Slowing opening her eyes to see the sunset casting down shadows on her raft, she can feel that it has stopped moving. Looking around Y/N sees the shore she washed up on and nearby she hears the sounds of music and laughing. Her heart can feel the energy coming from the excitement of the party, she gets up to head towards the music already humming along. First, she gets her raft in order and leaves it inland where it should be safe. As she is walking along the sand, she can't help but be drawn towards the commotion. I can feel so much life coming from this music. Her pace quickens down the sandy path.

*Twing*

What was that?

She passed somebody but didn't get a good look. She forgets about it and heads on. She sees the lights in streets and walks closer to them. As Y/N gets closer to the town the music becomes clearer. It's people singing. She hums along to the tune. She can't pinpoint why but the tune sounds familiar, almost nostalgic.

"Gather up all of the crew, it's time to ship out Binks' Brew..."

*Twing*

What is that?! It's starting to get old...

The closer she got the more Deja vu she was getting. Continuing further into the town and onto the festivities swarmed streets, she looks for the source of the song.

Pushing through crowds of dancing people, laughing, drinking, and singing along, Y/N uses her polarity powers to locate the source of the song. God, the amount of people here is insane. If I was claustrophobic this scene would send me into a spiral. Either way, I have to know who is singing this song. Politely pushing past the dancers, Y/N can see bits and pieces of the musicians, they are dancing and drinking too. You get even more excited.

*Twing*

Again?! I feel like someone might be staring at me, but who? I literally don't know a single soul on this island! I don't even know what island I'm on or if I'm even still on the Grand Line.

Looking around you don't see anyone looking at you. This is irritating. But it's fine, you'll figure it out later, after you find this songs origin. You finally break through to the center of the scene and see a lot of people.

A short kid in a red vest, a guy with a long nose, a guy with massive forearms, two beautiful ladies' ones with black hair and orange hair, the singer who appears to be a skeleton, a raccoon dog, and a heart eyed guy with a curly eyebrow.

I feel like I've seen them before, probably on wanted posters, they are most likely pirates. It doesn't make much of a difference who they are, right now they are just people having a blast. The kid with the red vest it is swinging across the street using his... ARMS!!! HIS ARMS ARE STRETCHING! THAT'S NOT NORMAL... You stand there with a jaw dropped just watching this monkey man laugh and sing up and down the street. You hear people cheering his name "LUFFY! LUFFY! LUFFY!" Luffy?... Where have I heard that name before? Luffy... Luffy... hmm....

OHHHHH, LUFFY! Monkey D. Luffy, Straw Hat pirate Captain. Ok, I know them now.

They seem really fun, I want to introduce myself, but I feel like something is holding me back.

You pick your jaw up and start to walk forward but stop. The long nose guy sees you hesitate and takes the initiative to introduce himself first. "Hello there, miss, you looked like you were about to join the fun but stopped, so I decided to introduce myself. I am Captain Usopp, I am a brave warrior of the sea and I have an army of 8000 men. And might I ask who you may be?"
