*a couple of weeks into Hanni starting school with everyone*

"Hanni! Let go of her!" A student yelled, trying to pull Hanni off of her best friend. "Why? I don't even know you, this is her fault! It was her fault he died! She's the reason he isn't here anymore!" Hanni cried, her throat becoming sore and her voice becoming hoarse from balling her eyes out and yelling. "Hanni! Get off of the poor girl! She's older than you! What the hell has she done?!" A familiar voice appeared from behind the girl, pulling her away from the sixth former against the wall.

"Unnie! She's the reason he-he's gone!" She yelled, crying into the older girl's chest, hiccuping constantly. "Yujin-unnie, she's-she's the reason my brother is gone! The reason he's dead!" The aussie girl bellowed, Yujin(Ahn) rubbed her back comfortingly, before going over to the sixth former and knocking her out, punching her straight on in the face.

"Hanni, it's okay, let's go before we get caught," Yujin(imagine Yujin was FULLY fluent in english, still with her accent tho) spoke, dragging the crying girl away from the scene, sprinting for the garden, under the cherry blossom tree, the usual meeting place.

"What the hell happened?" Rei rushed over to the two, tears still streaming down Hanni's face, with bruises and blood on Yujin's knuckles from how hard she punched. "Nothing Rei" Hanni spoke, before the three walked over to the other friends, Wonyoung checking over Yujin, Rosé and Jennie checking over Hanni.

"What happened Hanni-ah?" Jennie asked, as the couple sandwiched her between eachother, all of them hugging. "I saw her unnie, I saw her." The younger spoke, hiccupping.

"Her? Who's, her?" Minji asked, as she appeared out of nowhere. "Are you sure Nni?" Rosé asked her. "How about in English, who is 'her'?" Minji asked again, the two aussies looking at her and Jennie before glancing at eachother, returning their eyes to Jennie and Minji.

"The girl who got in the way of her brother's car, which caused him to turn and skid onto a train track, but it was too late for him to get out and he died. But they found out she was the one sending him razor blades in the mail, and she also got him in trouble with a gang so he ended up in hospital multiple times due to that." Rosé explained, hugging the crying girl, the two infront of her covering their mouths in shock before they heard a bunch of gasps, their other friends all hearing about it.

*TIME SKIP 2 HOURS*

The girls all split up, as they lost Hanni again, and they were in pairs. After searching the school, that they toured her around for 1 hour and 45 minutes, they couldn't find her.

*Danielle's P.O.V*

I was walking around after being told I have a free period, due to there being an exam while I didn't learn any of it so I decided... I would go up to the rooftop as its a place I usually refresh myself with.

I attempted to open the door, but sadly it was locked... or- so I thought anyway. I continued pushing on the door, able to open it after a little push, something making a noise from behind the door, or... someone anyway.

"Ah, shit-" I heard from the right of me, as I turned my head and saw a girl holding her head.

"Omo- Are you okay?" I asked in a hurry, accidentally slamming the door shut.

"Yeah- I'm alright thanks," she spoke back, as she looked up at me. She's really, reeaaallllyyyyy pretty- wow, I thought, before mentally slapping myself at my thoughts.

"Thanks," she spoke, my hand covering my mouth as I realised I said it out loud. "Oh my god- I said that?" I mumbled out.

She stared at me with a confused look on her face, I then waved her off before checking over her head, spotting a bruise on her forehead and a small bump on the back of her head.

"Let's take you to medical-..."

"Hanni, Pham Hanni."

"Let's go to medical Hanni-unnie?" I asked, as I saw that she was in the year above me.

I took her arm, pulling her after me as we walked down the stairs. As we got closer I didn't let go of her arm, but slid my arm down and held her hand tightly, not even realising until we got to the medical room and then we sat down in the waiting area.

I kept my hand in hers, as she leant her head on my shoulder. I'm excited to see my unnies, friends and the new girl they have been talking about.

"So Hanni unnie, what were you doing on the rooftop?" I asked.

"Taking a break from school, people and sitting in the warm sunshine." She spoke to me. "What about you?"

"Using my free period to rest a clear my head I guess, I'll stay with you though." I answered still holding her hand.

"Danielle... You don't need to, you don't even know me..." Hanni spoke, trying to persuade Danielle not to stay with her, as she doesn't want to have to feel like she should owe the younger girls something.

"School is about learning, but also making friends, in which you learn about how everyone is unique and everyone has their own story, so how about we be friends? Get to know eachother in the free period I have, and then we can go to lunch and part ways if you want to?" Danielle said, with a wide smile on her face, squeezing Hanni's hand as she tried to make another new friends, as she does daily.

"If- if you want to..." Hanni mumbled, a small smile crawling its way onto her face before she  started walking back into school, dragging Danielle behind her. They made their way to the cafeteria, before the bell rang and students came charging in.

"Hanni-ah!" A voice yelled from behind the girl, as she spun around and ran into Jennie's arms, reciprocating the tight embrace. "How was the rooftop?" Jennie asked, pulling away while tucking a few strands of hair behind her ears, staring lovingly at the young girl.

"It's like you're my mum, it was good eomma~" Hanni spoke, giggling, before hugging Jennie again, who spotted the girl who Hanni was with.

"Danielle? How come it took you to tell Hyein that you were here for us all to know?" Jennie asked, questioning the younger as she held tightly around Hanni's waist.
