the origin of the purple scrab

I walked up to my friends Jamie and ty who were at my locker waiting for me. I was wearing a purple crop top with blue beetle on it. I must admit I'm a little fan of the justice league. I was also wearing light blue shorts and purple high tops. With my Nightwing backpack over my shoulder and my Justice league skateboard.

"hey Nicole!" ty greeted me with a wave." so you wanna race? Me ,you, and Jamie across the parking lot? "

"yeah I'm gonna kick your wheels though" Jamie smirked at me. I blushed a little.

"surrrrree you are" I sarcasticly answerd. Jamie crossed his arms and shook his head. " sarcasm is a forigen language to you isn't it? " I giggled Jamie smiled at that one. I hoped on my skateboard and raced them to the parking lot. Jamie was so close behind me I could hear his wheels against the sidewalk.

"nicole! This is not funny wait up! " Jamie yelled up to me. I smiled at the comment.

"how about you get a little faster." I remarked to him. He brushed past me as I said it.

"you were saying? " he laughed at me in his dust from his skateboard.

"Jamie that's gonna cost ya!" I coughed from the dust.sunddenly he stopped at a parking lot. He was  three minutes before me. I jumped off my board doing a kick flip and walked over to Jamie sitting on a bench looking shocked that he beat me here.

"what took you so long? I've been here forever." he sarcastically stated patting beside him on the bench. I gave him a questioning look.  "what?" he put his hands up in surrender.i laughed and sat next to him. Ty was no where is site so I couldn't race.

"Jamie what are you doing?"  I asked turning to look at him and he was just playing with his fingers moving them inside a finger made circle.  He looked up at me and blinked. Boy he's cute,no adorable when he looks at me like that.

"nothing, just thinking about something" he answered with a smile on his face. I blinked and locked eyes with him. " what do you want?" he asked

"I have no idea what you're talking about." I giggled not looking away.

"you want something. You're eyes only move like that when you want something" he said as he moved some of my hair behind my ear. My heart thumped rapidly faster than it has ever done before. I don't want to make things weird between us so I lied.

"can I borrow you're backpack?" I asked he looked shocked and handed it to me. It was blue and black with five zippers. I reached into the front pocket and found a sharpie. He gave me a questioning look. I just smiled and turned to the back where is was just dark blue. I began to write on of my Favorite quotes it read.

"crazy is just another Tuesday for us! " ~blue beetle

"I heard blue beetle talking to his team mates and that's what he said to them. He was so cute he would have to be my favorite hero ever" I smiled up at Jamie who was blushing and I placed the bag on his back." I'm gonna take a ride you stay here." I told him grabbing my skate board and rode to the other side of the hospital parking lot. I did a few tricks until I heard a crash and something shot out of the hospital and I was psyched three feet away and Jamie feel backwards on the bench. I was on the cold hard sement. I looked to my left to see a purple bug it was just sitting there. I stod up and walked over to it and picked it up and it climbed my arm and went down my shirt and went right underneath where my bra sits and it made a noise and attached to me . It felt like six different knifes shot into my back I fell backwards. My vision was blurring I heard Jamie calling my name. He was scanning my body for injuries. He lifted my shirt up and looked at my back and he saw the bug attached to me. I squealed when he touched it.

"oh my goodness" he whispered then he turned me back over and saw my eyes where close to being closed. " no. No. No. Look at me Nicole come on listen to me. Nicole please don't leave me for the reach. " My eyes were still blurry. I looked at Jamie.he pressed something in his ear.  "blue beetle to Nightwing um I need some help. No Nicole wake up come on no. Bring the bio ship my friend was hit by a scarb and attached to her in an explosion at the hospital parking lot. Nicole come on no.  Wake up oh ty is so gonna kill me for this. Ill meet you on my roof I have her." Jamie spoke I couldn't hear all of it ,but I felt his strong arms pick me up. I looked up at him and I saw blue beetle. My vision failed and everything went black.
