Harry's POV

My alarm went off at 9 am like it does every weekend. I woke up from the loud ringing and shut my alarm. I felt too lazy to even get up but I had to.

So leaving aside my procrastination, I got up and walked over to the bathroom literally half asleep. I switched on the tap and water flowed down. I began brushing my teeth.

I quickly took a shower scrubbing off all the dirt from my body while I hummed a random tune of some song I had heard a while back. I still don't know the name though.

I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my waist as I started looking for clothes to wear. I put on some briefs and sweatpants. And threw on a white t-shirt as I walked over to my mirror to fix my bed hair.

I always take time to do my hair but today I just didn't care so I just brushed it a little and headed downstairs. I saw my mum making breakfast and Gemma helping her out as they chatted.

"Good morning" I said in a raspy voice. They both turned around and smiled at me. "Morning baby" my mum said as she kissed my forehead.

I sat down at the table while Gemma continued talking about this job she was gonna apply for. I just played with the fork on my plate not really paying attention to what she was saying.

"I'm making omlette and toast for breakfast. That alright Harry? I know you don't like eggs but Im a little late today." My mom said as she placed an omlette on my plate.

"It's fine mum don't worry." I said as I dug in to my food. Even if I don't like eggs I have to admit, my mom makes great food.

"Alright guys, I have to head to work now. See you later." My mom waved at us as she grabbed her coat and headed out the door.

Me and Gemma both continued breakfast talking about random things. "So what are you gonna do today? Hang out with your 'best friend'?" Gemma said, putting air quotes in her sentence.

Gemma always did that while talking about Louis. She just can't believe that we're super close friends. She seems to think we're secretly dating or atleast that we should be dating. At first I found it quite annoying but now I just ignore her. I just rolled my eyes.

"I'm actually going to a party today. Louis told me about it. You know Ed?" She nodded "The ginger cutie?" She asked raising her eyebrows. "Yes, the 'cutie'." I said rolling my eyes. This time I put air quotes. "He's hosting a party at his house. So I'll be going there." I said, stuffing a forkful of eggs in my mouth.

"Oh sounds cool. I gotta head out now so I'll see you later okay?" Gemma got up from her seat on the kitchen table and went to grab her bag.

"Where are you going?" I said looking up at her as she rushed around trying to find her bag.

"Gonna go hang out with some friends. We're gonna catch up a bit. Damn it where the hell is my bag?" She exclaimed and I heard something fall down in the living room.

"Gems is everything okay?" I got up leaving my food to check on her

"Yeah, just tripped over nothing I guess. I'm okay" she said. I couldn't contain my laugh for which of course I got a death glare causing me to stop laughing

"Hey there it is!" Gemma exclaimed, grabbing her bag and heading for the door.

"Bye, see you later" I said as she walked out.

I finished breakfast. Then headed upstairs to my room. I decided to complete my English assignment. It was due Monday and I didn't want to keep it for tomorrow. It was some stupid essay which would probably just take me an hour.
