Authors Note: Hi readers!! Hope you enjoy!

I stood standing flustered in front of my bedroom closet. I cannot find "the outfit". The outfit had to be perfect, not to dressy yet not too casual. "Uggh!" I groaned and flopped down on my bed.

This year I will be attending the most prestigious school in the world, Everwalker High. Everwalker High was known worldwide for the many different fine arts and extracurricular classes you could take unlike any ordinary highschool.

I sat on my bed with tears streaming down my face. I don't know why I get so upset over little things like my outfit. I have dealt with so much more bigger problems.

As early as I could remember I've been moving from foster home to foster home, some were bad, some were good. Then finally, at the age 13, I was adopted by my mom.

She's been the only one who truly understood my struggle in longing for some roots in my life. She's been the only one who actually truly cared. And for that I am forever grateful.

"Hurry up Camilla, you're always running late. You've got 10 minutes!" my mom called from downstairs.

I quickly reenergized myself and wiped the tears surrounding my eyes. I grabbed a pair of dark wash denim jeans and a random snug light pink shirt. Thank God I've already messed with my hair before so it looked somewhat decent.

I went into the bathroom and applied some pink lip gloss and black mascara, threw on some flats with an adorable pink flower on the top, slung my big brown purse over my shoulders and stating going downstairs.

"Since we're running late just grab a breakfast bar and start heading towards the car. I'll catch up with you." my mom said.

I rushed to the pantry and grabbed a apple flavored breakfast bar even though I was more nervous than hungry and practically ran to the car. Then I noticed my mom wasn't even there so I waited for her at the outside of our car. Great now I'm going to be super late.

Almost ten minutes later my mom was finally here and she unlocked the car door. I shuffled into the passenger seat while she started up the car. "Sorry Camilla, you know that lady who called about a wedding cake for next weekend?" she asked. I nodded. "Well she has the nerve to ask me are all the ingredients edible. Like are you serious?! Its a cake!"

I laughed. My mom runs a in home bakery. She is constantly talking about her costumers and how annoying they are. Every day she is either delivering items, baking, or on the phone taking calls. Most of the time I help her out on making the cakes part because I know how important her business is.

While my mom was complaining about the lady who called her, I was too worried about what was going to happen at school today. I'm not used to the fanciness and upclass of this highschool. I'm used to ordinary ole public school. But I know one thing, I am very adaptable to change.

About 15 minutes later I saw a brick sign that had in bold black letters Everwalker High School Of The Arts on it.

"Wow." I said cutting my mom off mid sentence. She was still talking about that crazy woman who called her. The school was 10 stories high. It had huge glass windows of sea blue tint.

It had lots of students on campus. In the back I saw a golf course, tennis field, soccer field, and football field. Then I looked to my left and noticed there was a huge olympic sized pool with two students competively swiming in it. Also there next to it 10 guys were on the track racing like motorcycles to the sound of a gunshot.

My mom drove and made her way to the entrance. The parking lot was filled with very expensive looking automobiles. Woah this school is more than I imagined. My mom parked our car. We unbuckled our seatbelts. "Alright let's go.". my mom said enthusiastically as she jumped out the car. My stomach felt like an empty pit.

Well this is gonna be one hell of a day.
