'Just friends'

~ Chapter 5 ~

(Andrew's perspective)
It's been 2 years since I met Lexi. I love her so much and today is our anniversary for being friends. I plan on meeting her at the dandelion field today. I texted her to go there at 5:00pm and she replied with 'k'. I've decided to make my move there but i don't know how to. I guess I'll just wait and see what's going to happen there.
(Lexi's perspective)
This morning Andrew texted me at 12:55pm and told me to meet him there at 5:00pm. I wonder what he's planning on doing. I feel like it's something to do with our 2 year anniversary of being friends. I hope he makes a move because I'm way too shy to do that. If he does, then I'll break up with Ben, even though he's going to tell everyone my secret but I'll tell my family and friends first before he manages to do it. I know now that my family won't make me feel that way because they are caring and I was overthinking it to much. But I'd better tell Andrew after he makes a move on me.

(They both arrive at the field)
L- Andrew!!
A- Lexi!
L- So what are we going to do for our 2 year anniversary today?
A- Don't worry, I've got this planned all out.
L- Ok Andrew, I'm trusting you with this.
*They talk and laugh for ages until Andrew asks this)
A- Hey Lex, what's your favorite song?
L- Dandelions by Ruth B
A- Good, now luckily, I bought a whole speaker and were going to play that song and sing along to it, ok?
L- Ooo, I'd love to!
*Andrew puts that song on and they both start singing to it*

Andrew and Lexi make eye contact and were silent for a couple of seconds. Suddenly, Andrew pulls in for a kiss and Lexi doesn't back away. They kiss for a straight minute and pull away.
L- I love you Andrew
A- I love you too, Lexi
A- Want me to take you home?
L- Can I stay at yours tonight? *winks at Andrew*
A- *Realizes what Lexi means* Yeah, but bring a condom if you want to do that
L- Oh I will.
