JJ's POV-
"What the hell" I'd say while getting thrown out aggressively out of the house. "DONT COME BACK!" I'd hear my 'Dad' yell.my eyes would start tearing up as I would start leaving. I was a mess and didn't had nowhere else to go. I drove to a local bar when I went in I immediately saw Rafe, once I saw him I walked up to him "You don't deserve to be alive." I whispered quietly in his ear. "You have no evidence." He said while taping my chest. I lost it and punched him with all the power I had left from getting a beating out of my dad. Before anything could have happened Barry showed up.
"Two against one?" I'd question myself "I like those odds." I'd say while sweeping Rafes legs. Before I could do anything Barry forcedly grabbed my neck from behind, Rafe grabbed a bat and kept swinging me with it, before he did it again someone came up telling them to get lost. Once they left I ran towards my motorcycle I drove to the first place I thought of Kiara's house. I threw a rock at her window signaling for her to come out.
Kiara's POV
I opened my window seeing JJ covered up in blood "JJ what the heck, are you okay?" I asked while changing my clothes sneaking downstairs. I opened the door where I saw JJ,I immediately hugged him tears would be dripping down my face, "Are you okay?" i'd ask the blonde young man covered in blood. "Yeah you know just got beaten up by my dad the usual." It hurts me that he has to go through that everyday nobody should. "You want me to take you to the hospital?" i'd ask JJ "No I just need a place to sleep for the night, if you don't mind." JJ replied "Of course not your always welcomed." I'd chuckle while letting JJ in.
We'd both quietly went upstairs to my room. I'd give JJ a new set of clothes. It's been around five minutes when I saw JJ came out of the bathroom. "You can sleep on the bed, I can sleep on the floor." I said. "No it's fine plus I gotta treat you like a princess." JJ said winking. I'd roll my eyes while passing him a pillow and a blanket. "Good night princess." JJ said. I blushed not sure why tho. "Good night JJ." I said while turning the lights off.
