Agatha frowned as she walked into her room, saddened to see that she'd be rooming with multiple people.
She walked into the room and sat on her new bed. Creak. She turned around to see her new roommates walking in.
"Are you Agatha? The other girl staying with us?" I nodded and the girl smiled, "I'm Dot!"
"Yes, I'm Agatha." Agatha layed down on the bed and rolled over, falling asleep.
The next day, Agatha got up to go to class. She pulled on a cloak and put on some functional black boots. She ran a comb once through her hair and then went off to her first class, evil 101.
She sat down at an empty table. Then Hort came in. He sat down next to Agatha and started smiling brightly at her. "Hi Agatha!"
Agatha frowned. "Why are you sitting with me?"
"You're my friend! I only have one friend... it's you!"
Agatha sighed. "I only have one friend too," Hort started to smiling, realizing she'd just agreed they were friends but she quickly got that thought out of his mind. "And it's not you. It's Sophie."
Hort looked genuinely sad and Agatha started to feel mean. He never did anything to her. Then again, this was a school for evil people and even if she didn't think of herself as evil, he should expect people to be mean to him.
"I- I don't mean I don't want to be friends with you, I, um, I just meant that I haven't known you for long enough to consider you a friend, you know?" She backtracked, trying to wipe the hurt look from his face.
It worked. He nodded and smiled again. "I get it! So I'll be your friend soon! That's great! No one usually wants to be my friend!"
Hort continued to ramble on and Agatha sighed. What had she gotten herself into?"
