Ruby was playing with their new dog, Sebastian, as she ruffled his ears with adoration.

"Give me a kiss," Ruby asked, to which Sebastian licked her cheek, which made her giggle.

"Look, Remy is there. Just push him down, and I'll give you a kiss. " Ruby made a deal with the dog as it barked in reply and ran towards Remus, who was reading Eleanor's letter with a fond smile.

Suddenly, the dog hopped on him, which made Remus yelp and fall on the ground with a groan.

"What's this, Sebastian?!" He yelled at the dog as its ears dropped down. Remus just cursed underneath his breath and heaved a sigh.

"Buddy, I'm sorry..." Remus said as the dog just barked at him and ran to Ruby.

"Sebastian, let's not take it as a big issue, shall we?" Remus asked, nervously gulping his saliva. He knew that he would be in trouble for scolding the poor dog.

Sebastian barked at Ruby as if he was complaining Remus and harshly barked at Remus, who winced.

"What did you do, Remus?" She asked as she caressed its head. The black dog once again barked at Remus harshly.

"I-- it was his fault for pushing me down," he said in defense. Ruby slowly paced her steps towards him as Remus backed away.

"We can talk, Ruby... don't use your fist. "

"HOW DARE YOU INSULT SEBASTIAN?!"

"MOM! PRONGS AND PADFOOT ARE COMING TODAY!" Remus yelled excitedly as he came out of his room with a grin.

"What about Peter, dear?" Hope asked as she removed the apron and kept it above the table before making her way towards her son.

"He's in Italy with his mom, let that git enjoy by himself," Remus said with a teasing smile as Hope slapped his arm.

"Language!"

"I just called him as git, mom! It's not that offensive, " Remus justified.

"In this house, it is offensive," Hope stated as Remus just heaved a sigh.

"Where's your sister?" Hope asked as Remus placed his head on her lap. His mother played with his messy hair with a small smile.

"She's playing with Sebastian. Honestly, mom, eversince he entered our life, she totally forgot about me, " Remus said in a grumpy manner. Hope chuckled at his jealousy thought.

"Jealousy much?" Hope asked with a smirk as Remus scoffed.

"Never in my life... I'm actually jealous that Sebastian is not playing with me as well, " Remus said.

"My poor son..." she said as she wiped her fake tears.

"Don't pity me, woman," he said with an annoyed look as Hope pressed her lips together.

"Notes taken."

"Sebastian! Jump!" Ruby said as the dog ordered her commands. She clapped in an excited way. Soon, she heard a barking sound. She turned at the side to see a black fluffy dog, which was practically glaring at Sebastian.

"Who are you, little guy?" Ruby asked amusingly as she crouched down and patted his head. The black dog closed his eyes and licked her hand, which made her giggle.

"Hey! It's tickling!" Ruby exclaimed as she took her hand back. She heard another bark sound, and it belonged to Sebastian. He was glaring at the black dog and hopped on Ruby, licking her cheeks.

The black dog also joined in licking her cheek as Ruby laughed as her back landed on the grass. Because of the other black dog's dominance, Sebastian just barked harshly and ran away in a grumpy manner.

"Sebastian!" She called him, but Sebastian turned his head to the other side and ignored her. Ruby scoffed in disbelief and focused on the black dog, which was hovering her.

Without any warning, the dog transformed into a human. Into Sirius Black. Her eyes widened at the closed proximity, and she surprised.

"Sirius?" She whispered out. He pecked her lips and stood up, dusting his pants. He held his hand at Ruby as she took it gladly and got up.

"What are you doing? What if someone sees you?" She asked him, looking around cautiously.

"You played a nice game on the train that day. I just came to take my revenge on you, " Sirius said, raising his eyebrows as he tried to walk inside the house, but Ruby held his wrist hastily.

"Are you nuts?! My parents will bombard you with questions! Go back, " she said, but Sirius ignored her and walked inside the house. Ruby's eyes widened as she too went inside to see James and Remus chatting.

"Ah! Come in, Sirius!" Hope said with a warming smile as the grey eyed boy gave her a pleasant smile.

"Hello there, Mrs Lupin!" He exclaimed as he took a seat in between James and Remus.

"So, you know that these two are coming today? " Ruby asked in disbelief.

"Uh-- Yeah? "

"And I'm the only one who doesn't know about this?"

"Yeah?" Remus answered, which once again came out as a question. Ruby just rolled her eyes and sat beside her brother.

"Hey, James!"

"Ruby darling, I missed you!" James exclaimed dramatically as he wiped his fake tears. Ruby chuckled at his antics as she joined the act as well.

"I missed you too, Jamie Boy!"

"Stop being dramatic, arsholes." Remus chimed in as his mom threw a glare at him.

"Language!"
