During mew and Sofia engagement party.......
I look over my shoulder as Tay sweeps me away from mew. His eyes remain fixed on me even from across the room.
"Tay, what was so important that you had to cut in?"
"You looked like you could use a save....the dance seemed a little too intense for the public eye. Beside making my brother mad is surprisingly fun past time"
"Tay....I can rescue myself and I'm not some object you can use to rile mew up"
"Look I don't know what's going on between you two, but whatever it is it doesn't look fun. And adult relationship should always be fun" Tay spins me around then dips me suddenly. I laughed at the ridiculousness of the situation.
"See? You're having more fun already and mew knows it" I glance back even though I can feel the heat of mew's intense gaze on me.

After few more songs everyone gather around for couples toast. "Thanks for coming to our fabulous party. This night is dream come true for me. Mew is a dream come true for me" Sofia lifts her champagne flute in mew's direction fluttering her eyelashes. I scoff under my breath.
"Is she for real right now?"
"Oh, yeah. This is serious business for Sofia she even hired a ghost writer for her toast"
"A ghost writer? That's pathetic?"
"Mew and I have only been officially dating for....." She checks her notes and continue"....about eight months, but we've been the best of friends for much longer" As Sofia drones on, Tay continues provide me with a whispered commentary. I fight the urge to giggle and interrupt the whole toast. Finally....
"Mew, would you like to say a few words?" My eyes trail after mew as he joins her, dropping a kiss on her cheek.
"Thank you Sofia. And thanks so much to all you for joining us as we celebrate our engagement "

"I think he means 'arrangement..."
"Tay I don't want to make fun of mew okay". I listen as mew continue

"As you all know I lost my wife about five years ago....and for a long time I didn't think I would ever meet someone else who made me feel the way she did " his eyes with my. " But now....I feel as if I've gotten second chance at happiness. I finally meet someone who gets me. Someone I can't stop think about. Someone who lights up the whole room with passion"
"Oh, I love you too!" Sofia said as she wraps mew in a long hug that made the room spin around me. The longer I stare on her perfectly manicured nails and dazzling rings the dizzier I get.i turn to Tay who starts to make another stupid remarks but stops shoot when he see the determined look on my face.
"What? You finally want to join in the fun? Cause you know I'm up for everything....." I glance back at mew who is still caught in Sofia embrace.
Maybe a bit of alcohol urge through my veins as I came up with a plans on the spot. Mew continue his toast as I force my eyes away from him to fully focus on Tay. Reaching out, I finger his lap and his eyes widen fastening on me. " What would you say to upping the onto on your little game with mew? See how far we can really push him? All in good fun, of course" Tay started thinking while poking his tongue against the inside of his lips. Finally he chuckles. " I like where you're head's at, Gulf" Tay wraps an arm around my waist and I lean into him.
"As I was saying Sofia is an incredible women....." Tay leans in closer, his lips grazing the rim of my ear as he whisper " I'm not too proud to beg for it.."Tay turns me a bit, putting himself between me and mew. He smirks.
"Sofia always make the time fly by, like the most pleasant dreams....." I giggle slapping Tay's shoulder playfully. Out of the corner of my eyes, I see mew struggling to get visual on what's happening between me and Tay.
"But,,uh, what I like most about Sofia is----ugh move, you big oof"
"What?" Sofia said in shocked expression.
"Whoops" Tay chuckles.
"I said.... you're 'smooth and Merlot "? Because you've always had such a sophisticated taste in everything except men" The crowd chuckles as mew's joke and Tay shakes his head
"Always manage to stick the landing"
"I know I'm a lucky man, for someone like Sofia to pick me" mew taps the mic, scowling in Tay's direction.
"A–hem, I know some of you are busy smooth talking you 'flavor of the week' but all eyes need to be up here. Thanks"  Tay raised a hand in apology as he shifts to face the couple again, but his lips find my ear once more.
"Uh oh, I think we're making Boos mad. But you know what would make mew really jealous?"
"Enlighten me"
"Seeing us leave together " I pull Tay's drink out of his hand with a cay little smirk. Tay reached to take the glass, but I pull it back. He's so close I can smell his cologne all around me. Across the room I catch mew glaring at me, his speech is forgotten. He seems to have eyes only for me and Tay. My eyes drats back to Tay.
"Kiss me"
"Seriously? Now?"
"Don't you want to?"
"Hell yeah" without skipping a beat, his arms pull me against his body as his lips crash against my.
"Tay you're not on the right thing. Just try to behave yourself, alright?" Tay hands leave my waist and he turned to glare at his brother. "Sorry" .
Everyone raise their glasses to Sofia and Mew. I swipe a glass of champagne from the nearest serving tray and drain it in one gulp. "To the happy couple." I look back across the room and see mew's eyes still towards on me. I set my new-empty glass down, harder than intended. I slip out of the back of the room. At long last I find the restroom now I can be alone.
"Okay. Deep breath in...out...in...out.. everything is going to be okay. Gulf" I encourage myself as I walked towards the rooftop for fresh air but I met Sofia in middle on my way. She leans forward and ghost a kiss against each of my cheek. " Feel free to leave early of you want to. I won't be offended, and I don't think Mew even notice. Ciaa!" then she walked away. I rushed towards the rooftop and few minutes later I emerge onto the rooftop, dragging in the deep breath and bracing my hands on the ledge. I bow my hand, relishing the cool night are  crashing the back of my neck" come on Gulf , pull yourself together! He is just your boss nothing more" I keep reminding myself this word suddenly I hear the door creak open and there was the man whom I was crushing since day one, with whom I was dreaming to be with forever together who is now engaged with someone else. Mew join me by casually leaning beside me.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine..I can take care of myself."
"I know that"
"You hired me to be your boys nanny, not your lover. That's Sofia's job."
"I...I know that too" I step closer and angrily jab a finger against mew's shoulder. " One minute, you pull me onto the dance floor, then the next, I'm watching you engaged speech for someone else!" Another jab " and I can't stop thinking about the dance...."
"You said we needed to talk then yeah? Well here's your big chance! Lete have it! "
