I hug all the girls individually and then we all have a group hug. I look at Chloe. She is so beautiful, the sun shining on her hair. What are these feelings?
"Goodbye, I'm gonna miss you all" Chloe says almost letting a few tears out.
"Yeah, I'm gonna miss you weirdos... Like a lot" I say, a little embarrassed and emotional.
And that's the truth, I am going to miss them. They were my first real group of friends and they've been there for me for the past three years. I knew saying goodbye was going to be hard, I've been trying not to think about it until this moment.
"We're still gonna talk, right? This can't be the end of us!" Fat Amy asks, sounding actually concerned.
"Of course!" Chloe says. "We can all meet up and go on vacation sometime."
Fat Amy announces that she has to leave because Bumper is waiting for her. Such a cute couple.
After a while everyone else is gone and it's just me and Chloe. My mind is filled with a thousand thoughts. Why do I feel different about our friendship?
Chloe hugs me one last time. My stomach starts to feel funny. Butterflies. What is this??
I hear two beeps. It's Jesse, he's taking me to my new apartment.
"I gotta go, I'll miss you. See you soon."
I grab my bags, I half run and half walk to Jesse's car. He kisses me on my cheek but it just doesn't feel right anymore. Could this really be happening?
"What's wrong, Beca?" He asks softly.
"Nothing, just a bit flustered I guess. Don't worry about it"
"Um, okay then... Wanna get something to eat?"
"Yeah, sure."
And now we're headed to Taco Bell. Maybe it'll take my mind off things.
