When the "overthinker girl" meets the "show no emotion" guy
She lay on her bed feeling miserable. It felt like a huge weight laid on her chest, in all honesty, she just wanted to hide from the entire world and cry. However, even the tears refused to leave her eyes, she just wanted to cry and let it out but she couldn't even seem to do that. The worst part was she had been reduced to a cliché, she never wanted to be the heartbroken girl crying over a guy but here she was. The worst part was she was the one who had taken the step, the step to distance herself from him, for good but it didn't really feel that way at that very moment. She just wanted to hear that same voice, and see that same notification on her phone indicating a new message from him, which had come to become so comforting to her in the past year or so. Walking away from him was already so difficult for her but what was even more heartbreaking is that she wasn't just breaking her own heart, she broke his heart in the process too, and that hurt more than anything. She sat there contemplating her decisions, contemplating the universe for having conspired so that they could meet. They were two very different people with two very different ideologies, they would never have met if it weren't for the universe conspiring. For the first time in a very long time, she found herself earnestly wishing that she had never met him. As much as she did not want to think about him it took her back to the start, the very beginning of their story.
