Mia's pov
I wake up in a weird looking room . It is full of white lights but doesn't seem to be like the hospital it looks like it has more technology than any hospital . I can barely remember what happened until some small memories keep coming back to my head . Slowly I start remembering everything . That's when I remember the fire in my hands . I practically stand up and start feeling a little dizzy . All this brings the lights to go off . What the hell is going on . I breath heavily in fear . As I do I hear heavy footsteps coming near me . I faint once again but this time a pair of strong arms wrap around me .
I woke up again but this time in a nicer room . I looked around to see that I was in one of the biggest towers in New York City . Or at least what was left of it . Once I adjust my vision I see 5 men in front of me and a woman . I try to stand up but fail and fall in the couch .
"You shouldn't try to stand up , you are not strong enough " says one of them . He has dark brown hair and brown eyes , he looks tired like if he just fought in a huge battle or seeming like that .
I ignore what he tells me and ask a question "where am I and who are you ? Oh and another thing " I get all the strength I have and shout "what the hell am I doing here ?! " they jump back scared . By the looks of it I believe they thought what everyone thinks about me : nice , sweet and quiet .
The woman steps right information of all of the others and introduces herself .
"My name is Natasha Romanoff and you're in the Stark Tower ... Or at least what is left of it " I try to smile but fail .
"And who are they ?" My voice sounds scared and unsure
Natasha points to a man with shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes "That is Thor " he smiles kindly at me
Then she points to a man with a bow on his hand , and to be honest that creeps me out . For some reason I feel like I know him "that is Clint " I stare at him for a while until Natasha claps in my face . I immediately blush
"I'm sorry , I've must of hit my head hard "
Natasha moves on and points to the guy with a suit on "that is Tony , and at his side is Dr. Banner " she finally moves on to the last person .
"And he is Steve Rogers " Steve has blonde hair and blue eyes . I must admit he is very handsome .
"Well it was nice meeting you all but I must leave " I try to stand up and hold of whatever is around me so I don't fall .
"Wait you're not strong you could hurt yourself , besides I believe there is some questions we'd like for you to answer " I turn around to see Steve talking, he has a look of worry in his eyes . I guess I should listen to him and maybe stay here a while longer , besides I have to call my mom right now and they might have a phone .
"Fine I'll stay but can someone please lend me a phone and later explain why you're all hurt ?" Tony nods at me and hands me a Samsung Galaxy 6 edge . Holy ...
"You can keep it I have like 100 more of those " I'm impressed by it and nod as if trying to say thank you . Once I turn on the phone I dial my mom's phone number . I wait around 10 seconds for her to pick up until I hear her sweet and kind voice .
"Mia ! Sweetie ! Are you alright ?! Please tell me you're fine baby girl !" I can hear how she is on the verge of tears . I totally understand why though . First of all because , well I'm her daughter and second of all because of an event some years ago which I don't wish to remember .
"Yes mom I'm fine are you alright ? " she answers me with a yes . We talk for a few other minutes until we both hang up . I walk back to the group of people and sit on the couch .
"Okay now it's time for questions and answers from both sides " the group looks at each other and explains to me why they're hurt . They surprisingly tell me their other names and how they became the heroes they are . I'm impressed by their answer but only manage to nod . Although there is one thing I can't believe ... I'm standing right in front of Captain America . My dad is a huge fan of him , he really admires how he has control of a lot of things . To be honest I quite like him to . He gave me inspiration once . I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't realize they were talking to me .
"I'm sorry I zoned out , what was that ?"
Dr. Banner speaks up " We were basically just asking what was your name and how old were you "
"Umm okay well my name is Mia and I'm 20 years old , I'm at college right now " all of them nod slightly at me . Tony walks up and asks another question
"What do your parents work in ?"
"Why would you want to know that ?" I'm confused on why would he even want information about my family and my parents
" I don't know , I just want to " he says
"Okay fine , my mom works at the United Nations and my dad works for the U.S.A army " I feel uncomfortable while I say this . I'm not used to giving out information about my parents , I was never very proud of them . I know I should be , I should be EXTREMELY PROUD but I'm just not .
"Guys I should really get going , I've got to see my mom and my sis-" I get cut by Dr. Banner
"No please stay I would like to make some tests of your blood to see what is causing that fire " I nod
"Yes of course ! I need an answer " he nods at me and starts talking again
"I know this is going to sound crazy but I need you here every day whenever you have time " I find that very difficult since I live very far away from here .
"I don't think I will be able to do that " I sound worried since all I want is to know why I am turning into a freak .
"Well this is a problem , I know this is going to sound crazy too but maybe you should move in " he says
"You're asking me to move in with people I just met ?! For all I know you could be assassins . Wait don't answer that , 2 of you are assassins . " I think about it for a while . He might be right, I'll just have to tell my mom I'm moving in to a new place since I want to feel like an adult . We have been talking about that for a few months so maybe it is a good idea .
"Okay I'll start packing but only if the rest of you are alright with it . Specially Mr. Stark , I mean he basically owns this place "
Tony smirks at me " of course you can stay I'm sure I won't mind having another pretty ass around here " I instantly blush at his comment
"Stark ! Learn how to treat a lady ! Have some respect . Excuse him , he has some problems " I hear the sweet voice of the Captain speak up .
Tony smiles at me again and says "and please call me Tony " I nod
"Well thank you but I must get going now " I walk straight to the stairs. I know it will be long but I can't use the elevator now .
