• ARIES POV •

I was in my fitting room, getting ready to have this important talk with my dear parents. I winced at how hard, and strong my lady was pulling at my corset strings, but still trying to figure out what was so important that they had to interrupt my precious time.

After getting on my gown, which was a beautiful scarlet red, with gold flakes of designs.. I met up with my younger sister, Lareina, as she walked by my side down the long hallway. Her long, blonde, curly hair was pulled into a ponytail while mines was down, reaching the end of my waist. She always had a smile on her face, no matter the issue.

"So, what do you think mother and father needs talk to us about?" Lareina asked, cheerfully.

"I don't know.. hopefully it's about me." I said, standing straight, leaving a smirk on my face. She nudged me, playfully, making us both laugh. Once we arrived in the main room, the first person I noticed was my younger brother, Silvanus. I looked down at my parents, who were sitting side by side with annoyed face expressions.

I immediately knew that whatever this was got to them, leaving a annoyed face stuck on them, which means me and my siblings were soon going to look the same way. I sat next to Silvanus, smoothing out my dress, patiently waiting for our parents to speak.

My mother cleared her throat, looking over at her stressed husband. Me and my siblings shared looks with each other, wondering what they were hesitating to say.

"As you know, children, me and your mother has summoned you here to discuss a very important matter that has been brought to us." Father spoke, his voice sounding stern. Father cleared his throat, turning to my mother who eye rolled him. Before saying a word, my mother took a deep breath.

"Us, meaning me and your father, has agreed with the other King and Queens of the other 3 Kingdoms to have our children meet. That means you three will meet with the Prince's and Princess's of the other 3 Kingdoms." Our mother told us. My jaw completely fell to the table, wanting to un-hear those words.

"Please tell me you're joking, mother." Silvanus said, looking completely shocked. The thing is we've never gotten along with the other kingdoms, we all despised each other and wanted to keep it that way.

"Why would you agree to such a thing?!" I said, as my gaze shifted to my mother, then to my father. "This could change everything! We've hated each other for years." I would say, folding my arms together.

"There's more." Father added. I didn't want to hear what he had to say, I've heard enough and whatever he was going to add to it would probably make it worse than it already is. "We've agreed to set up arranged marriages, meaning you will marry a Prince or Princess from the other kingdoms." He'd say, leaving both me and my siblings speechless.

"An arranged marriage?! But father-" Lareina started to speak, but Father suddenly cut her off.

"It's final. This is the only way to have a better future for our Kingdom. If we don't, everything will go down hill, do you understand me?" Father shouted slightly. I just took a deep breath before nodding my head. I couldn't believe this. Why was this even in consideration? Especially when the Kings and Queens know how much we hate each other.
