Kabir sucked in a breath when he found all the rooms empty of their house. None of his kids were home. And none of them ever woke up at 4.30 in the morning to jog. Kabir knew where his kids were.
He would so kill Manthan for this.
Manthan was mischievous. He riled up Kabir. Intentionally. But he also still made sure Kabir knew where they were. Kabir held the note Manthan left in his room. And glared at the empty bed.
Dearest Baba,
Blood pressure badha ke kuch nahi milega. So jaao. We are at my usual spot. And we will be back before seven a.m. And pretend as if you didn't know about our little sneak out session.
And before you plan our murder, please remember we are YOUR kids.
And I don't know about your other two kids, but I will haunt you in my after-life if you kill me.
Aapka pyaara, (thoda sa dara hua)
ManthanKabir pocketed the note and picked the keys and marched out of the house, grabbing a couple of blankets, towels and fresh set of clothes. And when he was missing his old Manthan, Kabir got him back, with interest. He shook his head and drove to Manthan's favorite spot.
Kabir don't know how Manthan found that cliff. Kabir didn't know since when Manthan started jumping down that cliff. He just got to know one day. And since that day, Manthan intentionally does this to rile him up. And as if adding Nikhil to his mini-group wasn't enough, he decided to add Hardik as well.
Kabir was furious.
When he reached the destination, he froze when he saw his kids and Sahil. They were laughing. Hardik was laughing, playing inside the water. He was splashing water on Manthan, and Manthan in return was chasing him, swimming behind him. Nikhil was no different.
Kabir saw them having fun and sighed, stopping at a distance, keeping an eye on his kids. He wanted them to enjoy. Especially when they would pay for giving Kabir a heart-attack. They would be punished either way, he, at least, wanted their "fun" be worth it for the punishment that was awaiting for them.
Kabir shook his head and called in one of his twenty-by-seven restaurants and booked a table for them and ordered a couple of dishes all of them liked. Must be hungry after sneaking out and planning all the adventures.
Kabir saw them swimming out of the water to climb back on the cliff. Kabir hid himself as he saw his kids and Sahil coming up.
"I swim better than you. Aap fattu ho." Hardik said, and Manthan raised his eyebrows at Hardik and shook his head.
"I am just cautious. You're not going in deep. And you can't beat me, Hardik. College main mujhe koi beat nahi kar sakta tha. You're dealing with the best." Manthan boasted, and Hardik snickered, rolling his bare shoulders as he stretched his limbs.
"And you're challenging a state champion, Bhaiya." Hardik said, shocking Manthan and others.
"You played states?" Sahil asked, and Hardik smiled impishly at him.
"Of course, I did. I am pretty good in sports and sport's bike. Bhul gaye tum, how I used to beat you in bike-racing. Your good luck, Sahil, baba ne mujhe mana kiya hai bike ko haath lagane se. Nahi toh aapko phir bike-racing main harata main." Hardik said, and Sahil rolled his eyes.
