Curses

"Okay...so I just have to add this and then it'll be done!"

Joey smiled as he looked down at the altar. He had managed to get everything he needed. It was a pain in the ass to get but if it meant getting payback from Scotts fire curse on him then it was worth it. His eyes flickered to the book for a moment as he double checked everything was there and in the right order.

He pulled the tag lock out of his pocket and set onto the stone, the blood in it sloshing around when it did so. It was gross that Shelby somehow got Scotts blood without the necromancer noticing but better not to question it if it meant he could get revenge.

"Now I just have to burn it! Easy!"

Joey rose the fire side of his hand towards the altar and watched what he had worked so hard for a light. A small smile grew on his face. He wasn't quite sure what the curse would do but that didn't matter. He would find out if the only boy on the server would come storming up to him with some kind of complaint, to which Joey would laugh in his face.

Once the materials burned away, it was done. The blonde dusted his hands off with a happy sigh. Now he had to wait for morning. He couldn't wait to see the look on Scotts face once he realised what had happened. It was going to be great! Part of him hoped Scott wouldn't be able to get rid of it as easy as Joey did with his. He wanted Scott to suffer for the whole week. It was fair in his eyes.

A yawn escaped the fire-frost witch. It was only midnight, how could he be this exhausted already? Part of him wanted to stay up and wait for the reaction he wanted, but the other half wanted to just go to bed. Hard to enjoy someone's reaction when he was so tired. Calling it a night seemed like the right choice.

He wandered over to his massive tower and removed his cloak and hat as soon as he could, along with his boots and practically anything else that would be uncomfortable to sleep in until he was left in his shirt and boxers. Without thinking, he flopped onto the bed and closed his eyes, soon falling asleep.

A loud banging interrupted the witches slumber. Groaning in annoyance, Joey sat up and rubbed his eyes. Who on earth dared to be banging against his door this time of day? More almost violent banging continued.

"Okay okay I'm coming! Calm down!" Joey yelled.

It stopped when he said that. God it was too early for this. He forced himself out of bed and got dressed, only pulling on his pants and belt but it was good enough until he actually planned on going out. He didn't even bother brushing his hair since whoever needed his attention wanted it now.

"What do you want?" He asked sleepily, His brain still trying to wake up from being so rudely interrupted.

He was shocked to find not Shelby or Lauren like he had expected. It was Cleo, the time witch. Great, just who Joey wanted to see.

"Have you seen Scott today?" Cleo asked.

Joey's eyes narrowed. No he hadn't, the poor man had just woken up and he was asked about a man who he hadn't even remembered existed until that moment.

Right! The curse! He needed to make sure it worked.

"Nope, sorry. I haven't seen him, did you check his house?" He questioned.

Cleo gave a nod. "He wasn't there. We were supposed to have a meeting but I figured some other witch might have stolen him or something."

Joey scoffed, as if he'd take that pale and half dead looking excuse for a man anywhere. He probably got lost or trapped or something. Nothing to be worried about in his opinion.

"Well I didn't." He responded, "If it makes you feel better then I'll do a through look in his house.

"I would appreciate that, thank you."

A small huff came from the fire-frost witch as he watched the other witch speed off. Looks like it was his job to find out what happened and what exactly that curse did. He was curious anyway, this was just an excuse. Off to use his waystone and locate his enemy.

Scotts house was nothing special, just a bunch of blacks and greens along with some decayed looking grass surrounding it, everything a creepy necromancer needed in a house. It certainly freaked Joey out.

He knocked on the door. No response.

"Scott? Get your butt out here!" Joey exclaimed.

Still no response.

He rolled his eyes and checked to see if the door was locked, it wasn't. Perfect. With a slight push, the door swung in and filled the slightly dark area with the sunlight from outside.
God this place looked decent but could definitely do with more windows. The witch stepped in and shut the door behind him.

He wandered around the area, brown slightly heeled boots hitting against the wooden floorboards. His eyes trailed around as he walked, eventually stopping on the green carpet. His interest was peaked when he thought he heard muffled speech from under it.

"Scott?"
